House was in a great location - easy to walk downtown. We also walked the neighborhood and around the church lot that was across the street. We enjoyed having a kitchen for cooking, a good fridge for our food and beverages. It would have been great to have a privacy fence in the back yard for us and the dogs, a grill, and fire pit if it would be allowed. Heater and AC worked great, good shower, and the house was stocked pretty well with laundry, toiletries, and some needed kitchen accessories.

Great stay in a very comfortable home.

Tim Nash has worked hard to renovate this home in Marion. It is very nice place with a comfortable queen bed (didn't need to use the bunk beds in the other bedroom), nice linens, washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen and a large new garage for our car. It is located in a quiet residential space with a nice front porch that has lounge chairs.... Couldn't ask for more!!!

Perfect Location

We truly enjoyed our 6 night stay as a family. The bunk beds were perfect for our 6 and 8 year olds. They also loved having toys to play with! We walked to Frydae daily to grab ice cream and sometimes a little adult beverage. The home was wonderful and had everything we needed. You wouldn’t believe the amount of available towels they had and how comfy they were 😍 Tip: the couch pulls out sooo easily, so you can fit the whole family for a night of relaxation. We will be back!

Cute, quite cottage

This cottage is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the cute downtown area of Marion. Host had a small box of chocolates from a local shop that was a nice welcome when I arrived. Cottage was clean and primary bed was comfy, however street lights shined in at night but there were blinds in the closet that I presume will be getting hung up to help with that. Although I did not travel with kids there were books and new toys for little ones as well as dishware which I thought was a nice touch. Host was helpful and responded very quickly when I had questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for visiting greater Cedar Rapids Area

I stayed here with my wife and two children (girls ages 1 & 4). This cottage was literally perfect for our family. The bunk beds with the adjoining door to the master bedroom was an ideal setup for us. Plenty of room in the living room and kitchen. Infinitely better than any hotel option we had in the area! The cottage was also located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood with lots to do and explore. Tim had some excellent recommendations for us as well. We even met the neighbors and they were so friendly & accommodating. Louis the cat was a big hit. We could tell that Tim is putting in the effort to make his cottage feel cozy and homey. We would absolutely stay here again any time we are in the area and would highly recommend it to others too. This is clearly an up-and-coming area and the place to be!

My husband and I had a quick one night stay as we passed thru town on our way to Minnesota. Property was exactly as described. Tim, the host, was very easy to communicate with. Cute little place when you would like a little bit more than a hotel room. Full kitchen and laundry. The neighborhood feels safe and friendly. Close to many things you may need/want during your stay.
