We checked in later. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine. Bed was comfortable. Very quick stay. Out at 5 a.m. to make an early flight.

After a long hiatus, the Hunington is back, and thanks to the owners and Ken Faulk, the property is as it was in 1980 but with the addition of a lobby bar and understated elegance in the all new rooms and interiors. The Big Four looks like it was never touched. I never imagined an old hotel that everyone loved could have been brought back so elegantly.

Like: location is convenient
Do not like: less amenity : no microwave in room or elsewhere ($20 charge for in room microwave); crowded breakfast area and the food quality is poor. Coffee was not good. Expensive facility charge $150 for 3 nights. Facility is old and not clean.

Room was really clean. Kind of small but it was fire. Bathroom was clean and everything went well. Bedding was comfortable with nice pillows. Would stay again for a few days if I’m in town
