Spacious modern Bungalow Desert Rose: 10 minutes to Litchfield National Park

"Lorna’s place was a delightful surprise - two cabins set in a lush garden on a rural property. We only stayed one night, so didn’t really have the chance to enjoy the plunge pool, but the aircon was a lovely relief and the thoughtful additions such as mozzie coils kept the bugs at bay. We enjoyed the thoughtful welcome gift of a cheese and dip platter, and were grateful for the small kitchenette that allowed us to prepare snacks for a perfect sunset viewing spot on the verandah. The bed was big and comfortable - we had one of the best night’s sleep of our trip. So glad we followed Lorna’s advice to go to the local Banyan Tree Restaurant and Bar for dinner - they had the best pizzas and a great relaxed vibe with live music."

"A well appointed house with great access to the lake on boat and kayak. A beautiful house to experience sunset! The street and house was quiet and had heaps of room for the kids and my parents who came along for the weekend."

"Great location but accessing water was through mud..Cottage clean inside but outside deck was a bit shambolic with dead plants and dead plant roots hanging down so exterior ambience was not quite fitting of the serene location"

"Excellent location right next to the National Park. A lot of really good activity and food recommendations from the host. Pool was great to cool off in at the end of a big day. "
