Clean bathroom and towels and decent breakfast but the hotel is in need of a scrub from top to bottom - it needs investment to bring a once great building back to life. Entrance is uninviting and scruffy. The great hall needs softening and the rooms need updating. Heating did not work. Very dusty and tired. Staff were polite but seemed a bit embarrassed
