Cozy Retreat: Your Serene Lakeside Haven near Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana

"Everything was clean. Quaint little cottage had just enough room to be comfortable. Loved the screened porch with the rocking chairs where we could sit, chat, read and watch the deer in the yard in the evening. Tim was so hospitable and enjoyed our chats. Our little dog loved the place, too, and liked being spoiled by him. We rented a small pontoon thru Gilligan's and spent a wonderful day on the water. Came back home very thankful for the wonderful getaway."

"Loved the property but it was wife's birthday and the host was there mowing the yard and bailed hay why we was trying to nap and made alot of noise the whole first day also left a camera on a tractor facing the hottub"

"The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The property was near a good burger place and there wasn't much through traffic at the property. The AC worked but didn't seem like it cooled the room off fast. It wasn't hot but it didn't get cold. Indiana Caverns was a short distance away and it's worth going to if you like caves. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"My husband and I had a relaxing weekend stargazing, making s'mores, and hanging out with the dog. We loved being disconnected for a few days. The property was great, and the cabin was clean, cozy, and just what we needed. We drove about 20 minutes to hike at Hemlock Cliffs, and that was beautiful! This is a great spot for anyone looking to get away from the city and slow down for a few days."

"Very well furnished in a quiet and peaceful country setting. Surprisingly updated on the inside. Only downside is no wifi but its likely not available in their area. Pond is well stocked firepit and grill are in great shape, wish we had time to enjoy the amenities more. GPS takes u to the owners house and the cabin is on the backside of the property with a separate entrance. Dog is super sweet and u have everything u need if u are looking to unplug."

"This was an amazing stay. The cabin and bunkhouse were very clean and you can tell the host takes a lot of pride in the property. The host was very friendly and gave us a little tour of the property. We did have 2 toddlers with us and the houses were pretty child friendly. We will definitely be staying again."
