The hotel has incredible views. Its medieval theme fits perfectly with Mardin's old city. The staff was lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Yusuf, the owner, helped us with everything. He offered us tea, organised trips for us and called a cheap taxi for coming back to the airport. All of this, with a constant smile. We 100% recommend this hotel while staying in Mardin.

Fantastic 100km night view into Mesopotamia.

Stayed during pandemic period during last week of Oct. 2021 with no health problems. Hygiene was good. Due to pandemic measures taken in the premises no breakfast was being served. Finding a place to park is always a problem in old city Mardin. We could hardly find a free parking place for our van about 2-streets below the hotel elevation and had to hand carry our luggage thru steep-narrow street (Closes in Scotland are wider than the closes of Mardin). Hotel building is at least 900 years old, well renovated; Terraces have exceptionally superb night scenery of historic Mesopotamia plains which presents a view probably more than 100km in southern direction all the way into Iraq and Syria..Fantastic grounds allows you to look back some 5000-6000 years...Enjoyed our stay of 2-nights in 3-rooms with another 2-couple of close friends. Very friendly owner management and personnel. Will definitely try to book same hotel when we travel to Mardin in future.
