The Quiet Flamingo. Beach zone bungalow living! Experience island living at this bright and welcoming three-bedroom, two-bath home just two blocks from Marco Island’s sparkling shoreline. This single-level retreat blends cheerful décor with relaxed coastal comfort, creating a casual haven for families, couples, and friends seeking a laid-back getaway near the sand. With room for six guests, open living spaces, and thoughtful touches throughout, this home invites you to settle in, slow down, and savor life by the beach. Begin your day with a quiet moment on the enclosed lanai, where soft natural light filters through and the peaceful setting makes it the perfect place to sip coffee, read, or plan your island adventures. When you're ready to venture out, grab the provided beach chairs, cart, umbrella, cooler, and towels and stroll just minutes to the sandy shore. After a day spent shelling, swimming, or exploring the island, return to the outdoor seating area and unwind around the fire pit as the evening sky begins to glow. Or, head over the island’s best restaurants/bars a few blocks down the street. Inside, the open floor plan creates a warm and airy gathering space. The living room offers comfortable seating for conversation or streaming your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV. The spacious kitchen features a large breakfast bar and ample room to prepare meals and snacks, whether you’re packing a picnic for the beach or enjoying a relaxed dinner at home. Each bedroom is designed with comfort in mind. The master suite includes a queen-sized bed, a convenient workspace for those who need to stay connected, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom also features a queen bed, while the second guest bedroom offers a trundle bed with two twin mattresses—ideal for children or additional guests. It was close to beach so we walked and took advantage of the wagon, chairs, cooler and beach towels. This gem has everything you need for a fun vacation. We used the bikes and rode to the Marco Island museum, very informative. South Beach at sunset and Tigertail Beach for husband to fish and us to walk. He had a last minute trip planned to meet up with the rest of my family and had no option to board my dog as it was all booked up. Rented the house, pet friendly and we had a wonderful time.Only suggestion I would make is to replace the mattress on the top bunk bed as you can feel all the metal bars beneath it and the kids wouldn’t sleep on it to had to use up the third bedroom but other than that, the unit is perfect. ##### Thais T.
