South Seas is the only community on Marco Island which boasts both beach access and boat docks, which can be rented at very reasonable prices. NOTES: \- The condo complex allows owners to make renovations to their units from May 1 to November 15 so there can be construction noise in this Tower. Work can only be done between the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, unless it is for emergency repairs. \- There is a registration fee of $100 which includes a parking pass for one car and each addtional parking pass is $100/car. (Not the owners fault). Once on the sand it was a perfect walk. Don’t buy a laundry card! It costs 10 dollars in the lobby just to buy one and then you’re supposed to add money to it. Just download the app, and add your money. Then you won’t be out ten bucks. Other than that no complaints. ##### Susan S. Bright. Sunny. Good view of the sweep of the Marco beach looking south. No direct sunset exposure in Dec, however could be at other times of the year. Loved the deck that runs the length of the apartment. Well appointed (including great sand chairs, umbrellas, and a cart) and well furnished, although ready for a facelift. The only “drawback” is that it is a longer walk to the actual shoreline than other parts of Marco. Not the best for older folks or for little kids. The condo was exactly what we were looking for! It was very clean, comfy, and we loved the beachy decorations. There were several amenities like beach chairs and a cart available for us to use, though we had brought our own (personal choice). The walk to the beach is rather long, but once you are there it is nice. The condo was convenient to so many great restaurants and excursions (we did an airboat tour in the Everglades, a shelling tour with Treasure Seekers, and spent an afternoon in Naples). The communication from Mark was great, he responded to all questions promptly. The check-in/check-out process was super easy. Mark did an excellent job of communicating with us in a timely manner, especially when we expressed concerns over the tropical storm that was to hit the area the condo was located.
