You’ll feel as if you’re about to enter a tropical oasis. This 1,100 square foot, 3rd floor condo sleeps six, with one king bed, two twins, a sleeper sofa and two bathrooms. Take a walk along the path circling Clam Bay and enjoy the fragrant wind and the reflection of palm trees off the still surface of the water. Another path winds through the manicured gardens of grass and thick hedges, past the tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce ball and the tiki hut filled with gas grills you can use to enjoy a barbeque lunch in a shaded picnic area. The cluster of palm trees up ahead encloses the spacious heated pool, lined with sun loungers. The interior of the unit takes its inspiration from the beach next door. A floor of marble-hued tile is brightened by natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows. Wall openings connect the kitchen and living room, giving the unit a wide-open feel. Style is in the details, and this is unit is filled with decorative touches like an anchor paperweight, palm trees on the clock face and colorful sketches of crabs, sea horses and an octopus. The seaside décor is complemented by eye-pleasing modern furniture that’s as comfortable as it is stylish. The kitchen comes with all the appliances and cookware you need to serve everything from a family dinner to a tray of cocktails to bring out to the balcony. Glass doorwalls open up to the balcony from both the living room and the master bedroom. We notified management, someone came over to look at them and take measurements but we never heard from them again. The wire shelves MUST be repaired.The kitchen faucet needs adjusted because it is difficult to move from right to left. There is a large tear on the screen on the porch. I was happy to find the kitchen stocked with the basics for cooking. Guests restock what they use. Beds were all very comfortable. South Seas East has a private gated path to the beach. It is exactly .5 miles from the door of the condo to the water’s edge and the sand is hard-packed and easy to walk on. We walked the beach every day. There are two large pools plus tennis and pickle ball. The location is convenient to everything. We found the residents friendly and fun. Don’t miss the pair of Burrowing Owls that live right at the gate! Also want to mention that everyone at the rental agency was helpful and always accessible. The condo development was quite nice and the people were very friendly. We especially loved the proximity to the beach and the pool. The owners were very responsive when we brought up a few minor issues. The kitchen and baths are on the older side but they were well maintained and clean. I wish the kitchen had been better stocked. For example, I went out and bought a salad spinner and plastic drink pitcher. Also, the knives in the unit aren’t very good. We also wish the unit had comfortable lounging chairs on the lanai. It had chairs for eating but no outside chaise or sofa. Otherwise, the unit was exactly what we needed. ##### john s. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This time we decided to stay in South Seas East instead of one of the Towers. It was a great choice as we were right beside the Tennis Courts (important to us) and a minute and a half walk to the pool. The unit was very clean and recently updated with comfortable beds and furniture. As this is a gated community I highly recommend paying the extra ten dollars for the coded gate pass as it will save a ton of time when re-entering the complex! I hardily recommend this unit to anyone tired of dealing with the tower elevators and long walk from the tower parking garage. ##### Brian S. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay on Marco Island could not have been any more pleasant. The agency who rented to us was very responsive and very courteous. They helped our transition from one unit to another very easy. When we called them with a concern about the smoke detector, maintenance was sent immediately.The unit was very clean, comfortable and overlooked a lovely canal and had easy access to Tiger Tail Beach. If I had to make any suggestions at all regarding this unit, I would suggest that the guest room had a full size bed along with the crib.
