We were able to enjoy a few days in a serene environment. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and our hosts were friendly and responsive. The hosts were actually one of the highlights of the stay!

Beautiful lake side cabin, withoutdoor grill and fire pit. Super friendly hosts
Great communication directed me right in to their location also gave me an upgrade. Very clean everything was as expected very quiet very nice lake a lot of lily pads but very good fishing. The hostess was very knowledgeable on the surrounding areas as well. I will put this one on my return list.
My husband and I needed a quiet get-away and this was the perfect place! Our hosts graciously met us to check us in, even when we arrived late. They walked us in to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and that we had everything we needed! They were friendly and stayed in good communication through texting. The cabin was comfortable and cozy and the view of the lake beautiful! We will come again! Highly recommend!
I am originally from Michigan and I was looking for a quick, peaceful getaway where we could take in the colors of a Michigan fall. Our Daily Breaddid not disappoint. The property is clean and secluded. But not so secluded you feel like you're in a horror movie. Perfect peace on the lake.
Debbie, the host, sent me messages through VRBO to keep me up to date, and on the day of my reservation she provided her cell phone number to keep in touch. She met me at the cabin and made sure I had everythingI needed
Very clean and quiet. Owners came by and checked on us to see if everything was OK. Great couple! Had fire wood to make a campfire, a grill with gas provided. The cabin was very well fitted. Definitely need a air mattress next time. 😆 very nice weekend

The cabin was nice, but the beach area on the lake wasn't. The lake is dirty. You cannot swim in this lake. Needs improvement.
Manager and her family are very nice and caring people.
We wanted a place where nature would have a chance to work its charm and minister to our souls, and we were not disappointed! The cabin was small and cozy without being cramped, and it was just rustic enough for us to feel that we had stepped away from the normal hustle and bustle. The pictures and descriptions do not do justice to the restorative impact this place can have, but we were the beneficiaries of having the place to ourselves. Be careful to bring your own bedding and towels. Cooking happens on the gas grill located on the deck outside the cabin, and it includes a ring burner if you want to use a pot or pan. Debi and Larry, the hosts, are amazing. If you want a Sabbath for your soul, try this place before the crowds figure it out.
I would love to have Debbie and Larry as my next door neighbors. While the property itself is always an important consideration when planning a vacation, the people you interact with can make or break the experience. Debbie and Larry are super responsive to any issues, and as a result of them visiting to take care of a couple of things, we got to hear some great stories and get to know two very lovely humans. The lake is peaceful with no boaters from anywhere other than the campground - a lot of lily pads to glide through as you look for the various birds. A pair of swans swam right up to the beach as we sat there reading our books! AC works really well. You will need to provide your own bedding. linens and cookware/dinnerware, as it is a bare cabin. The refrigerator is a large dorm size (rectangle with separate freezer, not the small cube variety). Pack food in small containers so you can poke them in here and there to make it all fit. One suggestion for those who may have back or hip issues: you may wish to pack an air mattress, as the cabin mattresses are more of a camp style. Also, toss in an extra towel for use as a bath mat. If, like me, you would like to bring your bike, be advised that mountain bikes are best for the gravel hills. Definitely bring bug spray for hikes in the woods and sitting on the deck. Not as many bugs if you take your food down the hill to the picnic tables by the lake. What we took away most from our few days at this property was the opportunity to meet two very kind souls. Thanks so much, Larry and Debbie!
