Please be respectful of our neighbors property and follow all local laws Just 3 minutes to everything Marcell has to offer. 15 minutes from Bigfork 40 minutes from Downtown Grand Rapids A short drive will bring you to amazing local food and drink at Timberwolf Inn & Restaurant or the Pine Cone Cafe or travel a little farther afield to the amazing local brews at Smoke on the Water, Rapids Brewing and Klockow Brewing Co, food and wine at award winning UnWined Up North and coffee shops like Brewed Awakenings as well as many local shops and much more! Security Cameras: For your safety and the protection of our property, we have exterior cameras monitoring the front entry & parking area only. Boat Access: You’re welcome to launch a boat up to 16 feet in length from our shoreline and use the dock. Please note, Forest Lake is small and not suitable for larger watercraft. There is no public boat launch on the lake. Sauna Use: The lakeside wood-fired sauna is available for your enjoyment. Please review and follow the provided instructions carefully, monitor the fire closely, and do not overheat. Kindly clean up after use. \*\*Please note, the idyllic location of the sauna, right on the shore of the lake, does occationally result in some light flooding of the concrete floor\*\* Property Maintenance: Lawn care and snow removal services occur weekly or as needed. The owner or a provider may be onsite for 1–2 hours during your stay, depending on weather and conditions. Watercraft & Safety: Kayaks and life jackets are provided. Use at your own risk—please follow all local laws, wear life jackets, and observe water safety at all times. We are not liable for any injuries or incidents on the water. Please be sure to review all house rules when booking! Home is located in a peaceful & quiet community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am) Extra guest fees will be charged if more than noted guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up. No parties or events. Please return all furnishings to their original positions. Use only firewood that is provided or firewood you purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO cutting of firewood on the property or adjacent properties is allowed. No burning of trash or any other materials besides firewood. Keep all outdoor fires within the fire ring. PET OWNERS: Please keep your pets off of the furniture and plan to kennel them if they are left alone in the house - Please pick up all pet waste (use provided pet waste bags) and dispose in the outdoor trash cans. - Plan to supervise your pets carefully Pet Owners - Please pick up all pet waste (use provided pet waste bags) and dispose in the outdoor trash cans. - Additional Fees will be assessed for any pet waste cleanup that our cleaners are required to do. Smoking is allowed outdoors take care to dispose of any smoking related refuse responsibly - a $200 penalty will be charged for violations or debris discovered and disposed of by our cleaning crew There is NO garbage disposal; do NOT put food, oil or debris down sink or any drains Guests interested in booking longer than two weeks will be required to allow our cleaners to access and clean the cottage, at your expense (will be included in monthly fee), every one to two weeks for the duration of your stay. Schedule for cleaning can be discussed and a mutually agreeable time selected. PET RULES… We are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs with a max weight of 80lbs combined. We are sorry but we can NOT accommodate cats Pet fee is $50 per dog per stay.
