Constant traffic with cement wagons blocking the lane. Three large cranes and pneumatic drills working all day along with dumper trucks and forklifts from 7.30am to 5.30pm. Workers shouting to each other constantly. Blood on the duvet cover and on one of the Easy Chairs. Ripped seats on a couple of upright chairs. Worker came in on one of the days while we were relaxing by the pool and dug up some pipe work that was to do with the pool. We weren't made aware of this in advance. We asked to be moved but the host didn't have another villa. They offered a full refund but we would have to find another property ourselves. We were already 4 days or so into our holiday. It has been a terrible and, for us, an expensive experience. This villa is not as the Vrbo description, the pictures on the site did not reflect the current condition of the property. Genteel gave a 20% refund but this did not compensate for such a dreadful stay and mis-representation by Vrbo on their site.
