Stunning property with a beautiful pool and the most stunning family room with connecting bathroom so we could stay close to our teens :) We only stayed one night, the four poster bed was so comfortable, the linnen sheets helped me sleep like a baby! There was a lovely room to watch tv or play games and the breakfast was lovely, wish we had stayed longer! Merci Valerie ❤️

Such a lovely, if brief, stay! Our host Isabelle was incredibly kind and not only accommodated a last minute check in but early breakfast for us so we could hit the nearby Ogliss water park early. The fire is beautifully appointed, with vibrant art nouveau features which have been restored with loving care and vibrant flair. Ours was only a brief stopover but we’d love to come back for longer next time. Merci Isabelle and Marc!

Driving from Pyrénées Atlantiques to Brittany and wanted an overnight stop. This was ideal. Close to restaurants, easy to find. Lovely clean, comfortable room,; real fast was outstanding and the swimming pool the best hotel pool we have ever seen.

This is the thrid time and it is good as ever. Staf are very helpful, clean and tidy inside and around the hotel. The breakfast is above the normal in nice surrounding with the staff topping up and clearing away effortlessly.

For €28 for a couple, we would have liked a greater range of cereals an perhaps also some nuts. The two choices did not appeal.

We have stayed here before on a stopover andcame back because it was so good and very conveniently located. Once again we had a super stay. The restaurant is lovely, although one the two mains on the prix fine menu was not available and so only the fish option was offered. However,that was delicious.

Chose a stay in La Rochelle randomly, for a few civilised days by the sea (after being landlocked in the Charente with group of friends). A local friend warned us about the town being car hostile, and (especially during rugby tournament) extremely lively at night. A lovely hotel. We stayed 4 nights in Jul/Aug 2020. The staff were superb (especially helpful with restaurant reservations) the hotel was very clean and the location could not be better. One small negative - we had 2 garden view rooms between the 4 of us. Our daughters shared a room which has a fantastic shower - good pressure and coverage. Still an excellent rating. Hotel extended since our last stay, good number of extra rooms, extension and rooms tastefully done, just a 10/15 min walk to the old port where there are many places to enjoy a drink and watch the sun going down. Then a great selection of excellent quality restaurants all at reasonable prices.

The hotel was clean, staff were welcoming and the breakfasts were great value at 12€ as you could have hot and cold food, continental and typically French food. Hot and cold drinks were available too. My room was on the 4th floor, which was a short walk up from the lift at the 3rd floor and had a great view over the rooftops.
