Very comfortable and well-kept property perfect for a getaway or relaxing time away from regular life activities. Owner is very accommodating and responsive.
We had a wonderful stay at maplecrest. Place is outstanding, clean, private, peaceful and what a view from the front porch. We hiked the mountain behind the house and we almost got to the top. Great time was had by all. Thank you Alexis for sharing your house with us. Next time we will stay for longer as weekend was not enough.
This house was so cute and the kitchen was STOCKED. Alexis was very helpful and responsive during the whole process. We loved the fire pit and the location of the house. Beautiful views and beautiful house. Would stay here again!!
Was a great place to make home while we spent a week upstate buying our new home, meeting contractors etc was a great place to come back and have s’mores by the fire pit and stare at the stars. Close to tons of great hiking.

Great Memories Made
We had a great time at this house. Our host was great. Alexis sent messages throughout our stay to check in with us. She gave us recommendations on things to do. She always got back to us very quickly throughout the booking process (I had a lot of questions). The house was immaculate and updated. Would definitely stay with them again.

Beautiful home for a ski weekend
My family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed in this beautiful home to ski at Hunter and Windham. It is centrally located between the two mountains and was about a 15 min drive to each.
The home was impeccably clean and organized with toys, movies, kitchen staples and plenty of cookware. Everything was perfect.
We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Windham and Hunter!

Wonderful weekend get-away
Myself, my husband and another couple had a truly great experience staying at Alexis' home. It was incredibly clean, filled with ample cleaning supplies, extra tissues/paper towels/toilet paper -- we didn't need to run out to the store for anything additional!
The home is exactly as pictured and very well maintained. Alexis was a pleasure to work with as she responded very quickly to all messages and checked-in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly.
Thank you, Alexis, for your opening your home to us and being such a fabulous host!

Great family getaway
When I found this home, I just knew it would be perfect for my family and I. Traveling with a 1 year old, I was stuck on finding a home that was newly renovated and clean! We found just that. The family that owns this home has kids as well, so there were plenty of toys for my daughter to enjoy. We made the den into her room, my mom stayed in one bedroom and we stayed in the other. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. My husband and I left during the day to Windham mountain to snowboard, and was only a 10-15 minute drive. When we got back, we had plenty of room to hang up our gear and take off everything that was dirty and able to wash in the washer and dryer. The coffee machines were great along with all the other kitchen needs. The fireplace on wall was a nice touch on cold nights, also great our daughter couldn’t reach it! The only thing I wish we knew before I booked, was that there is no cable or WiFi connection, but to be honest being “unplugged” for our 4 days was a nice getaway from everyday life...We loved this home and will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful modern home away from it all
My husband and I rented this home for a weekend of skiing at Hunter mountain. The home was about 10-15 mins from Hunter, and was a short drive to Windham, as well as a number of restaurants and ski shops. The house was spotless, had modern amenities, and was very private. It had tempur-pedic mattresses that were very comfortable, and what looked like a newly renovated spa-like shower. One of our favorite features was the ventless fire place, which gave the home a very cozy feel. Alexis, the owner, was wonderful and responded to a few questions we had in a very timely manner. We woke up to a foot of snow the morning we were going to leave and the driveway was plowed for us, and the roads in Maplecrest were already taken care of as well. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any one looking for a quiet weekend away!

Lovely Mountain Getaway
Wonderfully renovated cabin in the mountains. It gently snowed while we were there and the snow flurries were beautiful against the mountain back drop. House is great and beds were especially comfy. Alexis was easy to work with and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Home Away From Home This Winter
Alexis' house is a fantastic getaway for those looking to escape home without escaping the comforts of home. The kitchen is a cook's dream and has all the necessary hardware to prepare a full meal; we made our Thanksgiving dinner using only cookware already in the kitchen. Coffee lovers will love their two coffee makers -- one drip, one espresso -- as well as the choice of coffee beans.
The house is about 15 - 20 minutes from Hunter Mountain or Windham Mountain, and 35-40 minutes from Belleayre. When booking here, know that you're truly escaping, cell phone service is spotty (you'll go miles from the house before you get a reliable signal, but there are a few spots in the house where you can find a minimum amount of service), there is no WiFi, and while you have tons of movies and games to choose from, there is no cable or over-the-air TV (as of this writing).
If you're looking to get away from the hectic pace of the city, have a great place to stay and not pay resort rates, be able to cook in a kitchen that almost certainly rivals your own AND a place that's kid and pet friendly... why are you still reading? Book this place before someone else does!
