"Very disappointed. I expected 8.2 rating, but it’s more of a 6. The room had been smoked in, had evergreen branch in it and the soap/shampoo was more water than soap. Staff was nice and pleasant, but highly disappointed in the quality of the room. "

"The front desk was out of room keys? We arrived around 6pm attempting to check in and did not finally get into a room until 730pm. They said they were out of room keys and their "master key" was not working. So they had 1 key that each employee had to program individually for each person attempting to check in and physically walk them to their room 1 by 1. It took almost 90 minutes from the time we arrived in the lobby to the time we finally got into our room. We then had to go through the same process after dinner just to get back into our room. As a professional firefighter, i cannot believe management allowed this to happen. If there would have been an emergency, the first thing firefighters would have to do is get a master key from management and start checking rooms. This was unacceptable. The staff did the best they could with what they were working with and were friendly/apologetic. We will not be coming back even though our daughter will be a freshman in the fall. We'll be staying at another hotel. "

"The fire alarm went off about 12-20 times in the middle of the night! There was banging and hollering going on half the night and I had to walk through clouds of pot smoke to get in the door when bringing in my luggage. I stayed here because I had a good experience a year before, but this time was much worse. I just wanted a quiet, comfortable place to sleep for the night for our college visit. Nothing fancy, just the basics for an affordable price. The price was much higher than I would normally pay for this level of hotel, but I thought it would be worth it because of my previous experience. It most certainly was not worth it. Not only did I not get any sleep thanks to the noise and fire alarm, but the breakfast had no tongs to pick up any of the food items and there was only a small pitcher of milk for the cereal. The light fixture in the bathroom was completely rusted out and the parking lot verged on feeling unsafe with people sitting in their cars, stsnding by the door smoking pot, and some lady carrying bags around and talking to herself. Overall, a very poor experience."

"The rooms are very clean. We enjoyed the bar while waiting for our room to get ready. The buffet was fantastic for breakfast. All the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Would highly recommend the fried portabella mushrooms. "

"Got a three day reservation- property would not allow me to have the room for only one of the three nights- lost all money even though I paid for 3 nights and only needed one of those nights. Expedia tried to help but property didnt budge and took my money and we had to book another reservation elsewhere. Poor business practice "
