Our family enjoyed four nights here and were very pleased. The house was clean, well-stocked (thanks for not being stingy with TP and paper towels!), and the view was gorgeous. We loved being up the hill - it felt very secluded but you could still hear the waves at night. The hike to the water was close and the trip back up the hill is a great way to walk off some of that vacation eating! Comfortable, roomy, beautiful deck and view, dog friendly and overall worked pretty well. The dishwasher does not work and there was no plug for the kitchen sink in order to wash dishes. In addition, not enough hot water. The Vacasa service provided us with disposable dish ware and a new sink plug due to the dishwasher. It wasn’t until the last day when I was the first to wake up and shower that I discovered there actually was hot water. I just thought the entire time the temperature on the water heater was turned way down to Luke warm. Nice, but limited, view of the ocean and great view of trees from the rest of the house. You can hear the stream babbling behind the house. Quick walk to beach down a steep hill. Definitely could add some basics to the kitchen (there wasn’t one potholder in the house, which was tough with Thanksgiving cooking) and DEFINITELY need new bath towels. \*\*Note if you’re renting in the fall/winter: the house was 50° inside when we arrived and it took all night for the temp to come up. It’s all radiant floor heating. Very cozy once it gets warm. If you’re too warm, takes forever to cool off. Not easily regulated but the house was eventually warm and cozy.
