The townhouse was brand new and clean . Nice that they had beach chairs for us to use.

Terrible rental stay. Appt was not stocked with necessary essentials.

Sadly, I feel compelled to write a negative review to effect change for future renters. Upon arrival, the Unit was over 81F. It took four hours to reach a comfortable temperature of 73F. VRVO guidelines suggest setting the property to a comfortable 70-74 degrees. However, this was the least inconvenient issue we had. The kitchen was not equipped with the most essential items. There was an old, dirty 1-qt pot and two frying pans, but no toaster, pots, pans, sharp knives, can openers, or oven mitts. It was bare bones. Not even a broom to clean a mess or sand. After two days of our 4-day stay, the owner provided a toaster, knives, and a pot and strainer, but no hot mitts, can opener, or oven bakeware using what was provided was a moot point, as we had no oven pans or BBQ grill, as was advertised. Upon asking the owner about the grill, he modified the listing, removed the BBQ grill, and tried to tell us it was never included. Unbeknownst to him, I had taken a screenshot of the prior listing, which included the barbecue grill—bait and switch tactic. I suspect we were his first rental. VRBO’s guidelines were ignored. We requested a partial, modest refund, but the owner refused. We disputed the claim with American Express, provided evidence. AMEX found our request reasonable, and provided the modest refund.I hope the owner stocks his home with the necessary elements as per VRBO quidlines.
