(82 reviews) I loved the neighborhood surrounding Amsterdam Canal Suites. It was right on a canal, quiet, and dining and museums were a walkable distance. We fell in love with Bistro Bonjeur located just down the street. The suite was clean and comfortable. Service was spotty. They didn’t take the dirty towels and one day only brought one clean bathtowel and no fresh hand towels. There were no dish towels or potholders in the kitchen and the freezer compartment was full of ice that had melted together, rendering the compartment unusable. I appreciated the laundry center with detailed instructions in English for use. I would have appreciated the same for the dishwasher. We ran it twice and the soap never released.
