The grounds are kept clean and the kids love the children activities they offer. All staff are so friendly. The owner was helpful and quick to respond with any questions . The community of pirates cove is quiet and has many fun things to do from tennis to a large pool. The community pool was less then a 2 minute walk and was so nice to use in between outings or after. We were also able to see the fireworks on July 4th from right outside our unit. We plan on coming back here the next time we vacation in the Outer Banks. The employees were nice and a pleasure to deal with. Our host was also very easy to deal with and quick to answer any questions we had. We went to the beach by Jennette's Pier several times and it was beautiful with free public parking only a few minutes walk from it. I would recommend getting there on the earlier side as it fills up quickly. We enjoyed staying here as it was relaxing with plenty of space for our family 4 to spread out. We booked this property for family and friends for a tournament we were fishing out of Pirates Cove. This place is absolutely perfect. It is beautifully updated, clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. It is just a short walk to the marina and Bluewater Grill. It is right next to the huge pool, clubhouse and tennis courts. This is the second property we have stayed at that they own. So clean and big. The deck is amazing as well! Bars and great food within the community. We are beach goers so we know a great rental when we see one. As first time visitors we were unsure what to expect. The proximity to pleasant beaches that were not overcrowded was exactly as described (5 minutes or less).
