Our first night was a bit rough because there was a gale warning and the wind/water was a lot for these landlubbers, but once the weather settled down and the water was calm, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat. "The loft was great. Very spacious and clean. The outside areas could have been cleaned of spider webs and debris, but we didn’t spend much time out on the deck or covered porch area bc of it. The amenities were great. Indoor pool was so fun, and lazy river was great. May want to let upcoming guests know to bring a tube for the lazy river. The few rusted areas don’t look the best, but with all the water and age of the facility it would have to be hard to keep it covered. The outdoor pool was great, spacious and clean. We loved the trails, and the access to the beach was very handy. We loved the ability to use the amenities after checkout until 2pm. That made our day fun before a long travel. The local restaurants were great, and having Walmart close by helped with stocking some food to save money from eating out. The greatest part for this mama, was sitting on the dock watching the turtles. I would find things that were safe to feed them, and loved that they would follow you around. There were lots of fish in the pond also. We had a great time and plan to come back."

"Very nice hotel! I would say surprisingly good for fear priced dog-friendly beach hotel. Clean, modern enough. The only problem we had - when I talked to the hotel front desk week or two ahead and asked about the amenities and pool availability, they “forgot” to tell me that the pool will be closed. Since we came for the relaxed beach/pool vacation it kind of ruined our plans. Weather also was bad, but I can’t blame the hotel for that."
