"My stay at the Mokena Super 8 was fine. The hotel is very old, but everything was clean. My room was clean, the bed, the bathroom. All of that was very clean and comfortable. I had just two issues, not an extra roll of toilet paper to be found, fortunately I always carry this with me because I just didn’t feel like going to the front desk. Also, the dresser drawers are dangerous. I was looking for a blanket and thought I would look in the dresser and one of the drawers nearly fell on my foot. That could’ve been very ugly. It’s very old furniture. I had one of my cats with me because she was having a dental surgery at Mokena Animal Clinic the next morning and I didn’t want to drive in in the morning. My kitty’s stay was fine; I kept her in a tent all night because I couldn’t risk her hiding someplace in the room. Unfortunately, I had to pay an extra $45 to keep her confined to a tent! I’m glad the hotel allows pets, but she wasn’t going to destroy anything being confined to a tent. I would stay there again if the occasion came up."

"Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Please note: Breakfast is not free like so many other hotels, but there are IHOPs and Cracker Barrels within driving distance. Breakfast is available, but you must pay for it, and choices are limited. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The pool is currently out of commission. There is a Walmart and other shopping near the hotel, and Door Dash is very convenient if you want to order restaurant food to be delivered to your door."

"The staff made this hotel a real nice place. The only thing I didn’t like was at the bottom of the door at room 117, the weather stripping is totally off and just gathers on certain parts of the door. There was a heavy rain the other day and since the weather stripping isn’t on the bottom of the door properly , that rug inn front of the door was soaking wet from rain water coming in from under the door . I had to use 7 towels to sip up the excess rain water . So if any of the towels are stained This is the reason. Why . Thankyou , Ritchie Maffia"
