Beautiful large property and grounds. Definitely surprised to find out that it’s only accessible by ferry! No cars on the island. A beautiful shuttle drive from the ferry landing to the hotel. There is no peaceful view of the water from the hotel, as pictured. In it’s prime it was quite the destination.

Food was good.
Room illumination was poor, especially in the bathroom. Also the hotel signage was lacking. I could not tell if I had reached the place, or where the front entrance was.
