Find hotels in Manjarrés from £45

The best areas to stay in Manjarrés are within the village centre itself or in the surrounding countryside for a more secluded experience.

Manjarrés is a small, traditional La Rioja village, and the village centre is where you'll find the heart of local life. The main square, usually near the church, is a good reference point. Most of the village's amenities, such as local eateries and small shops, are within easy walking distance. It's a very calm and welcoming place.

For those seeking a truly relaxed and private stay, particularly couples looking for a romantic getaway, the countryside just outside the village offers excellent options. Here, you'll find rural guesthouses and properties converted from old farmhouses. These often boast larger grounds, providing views of the vineyards and olive groves, and a peaceful environment away from any village activity. Many offer amenities like private pools or outdoor dining areas, great for enjoying the pleasant Riojan evenings.

The best time to visit Manjarrés is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, ideal for exploring the Rioja wine region. Temperatures are generally mild, making it comfortable for outdoor activities like vineyard tours and walks through the countryside. You'll also avoid the peak summer heat and the colder winter months.

For those interested in the wine harvest, late September to early October is an excellent time to visit. You'll see the vineyards bustling with activity and many wineries offer special harvest-themed experiences.
