Able to visit many of the sites and yet enjoyed the time at the cottage. Nice campfire by the lake. Weather was great and very few bugs. Great Lake view and comfortable accommodations. Host Kathy and Larry were excellent and easy to work with. Indian lake is a beautiful lake with many things to do near by for day trips. The view was great, sitting by the lake was refreshing and peaceful. We had some local family come over to eat dinner and the space was comfortable! Just what we were looking for! Spring in the UP didn’t disappoint. Beautiful weather and area for hiking, exploring, fishing and chilling by the bonfire. What a cozy place right on the water and we got to bring our fur babies too. Kathy and Larry are so accommodating, we were treated like family and had everything we needed. We had 5 guys ice fishing for a week. Plenty of room to relax and stretch out. Very clean and well taken care of. Hosts Kathy and Larry are the best. They go the extra mile to make sure your stay is everything you want. We definitely recommend the property for year round enjoyment. The Sunset View resort has 6 or so units with a shared beach and fire pit along with kayaks and a dock. We enjoyed the cleanliness and peace at this cottage. The drive into Manistique is only about 10 minutes so conevebient for necessities. ##### Alaine K. We had no complaints about our stay with Kathy. Great location, right in the middle of all the action of the UP. Tons of lakes in the area to fish, as well as LBDN.
