Pralor le Nova is an OVO Network property. The beautifully renovated Alpage du Pralor is an old farmhouse which has been split into two very smart semi detached rental properties each for 8 people, Le Nova and Le Peille. The OVO Network team’s opinion - This property has 4 ensuite bedroom and is spread over three floors. It is a perfect base for those who value nature, space and simply stunning panoramic view. Virtually every window is like the frame of a picture postcard! With very good quality workmanship and craftsmanship throughout the build itself, natural fabrics and colours, a hammam and an outdoor jacuzzi thrown into the mix too, this property is ideal for a family a group of friends, or couples. The chalet stands alone at the top of a meadow with the forest behind, above a farm where you can purchase very fresh milk, cheese and butter. You will need a car to access the ski slopes and the local shops, there are some beautiful walks from the front door. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Please note this chalet is a semi-detached property, particular attention was paid to high-quality sound proofing during construction. For electric vehicle owners, a flat-rate fee of €50 will be charged upon arrival at the chalet to cover the cost of the electricity needed to recharge the batteries. The access to the separate hammams for each apartment is via the garage. The maximum capacity of the chalet is 8 people + 1 baby sleeping in a travel cot. This number cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. The table football, ping-pong table and deck chairs are not available in winter. The table football and ping-pong table are located in the garage and for the use of both properties. As part of a responsible approach to energy management, please ensure that lights and electronic devices are turned off when not in use. A car is essential to get around the area and make the most of the fantastic hiking trails around, which are very well sign posted. The mountain views are superb and the chalet is well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the overall feel luxurious – dressing gowns in each ensuite, stunning views from the hot tub, the blaze from the wood burner on rainy evenings. The kitchen is well equipped (Nespresso machine, good pans, juicer, baking trays) and the table tennis table and basketball hoop in the garage/parking area (shared with next door) were great. This is a glorious place way above the main road half way between Manigod and the top of the pass to La Clusaz. Very comfortable and everything worked. Good for views of Golden Eagles, stars, thunderstorms. Not so great if you are a nervous driver on mountain roads or forget a bit of shopping. The nearest supermarket is in Thones about 20 mins each way (15 if you are French) down the mountain. Plenty of space for kids to play safely and the jacuzzi plus steam room were handy. Helpful people with easy check- in early. Some soap in the many bathrooms would have been a nice touch and perhaps more information about the local area. It lived up to expectations and what struck us on arrival was the immaculate state in which we found it. The cleaning had been very well done. Contact with the owners was good and friendly, and they were ready to take immediate action if necessary. In our case the gas bottle on the barbecue was empty and was changed immediately. The house can be described as excellent and at our time (autumn) it was well worth it! During our stay, there was a table football and table tennis table in the garage. Nous avons été tous ravis ! Un rapport qualité-prix incroyable, avec un logement magnifique, très propre et fonctionnel. De plus, nous avons à plusieurs reprises échangé avec Anita, propriétaire des lieux, au magasin Veyrat Sports, qui est des plus adorables. Tout est prévu pour se sentir chez soi. La vue est sublime et les prestations de très bonne qualité. Il est important d'avoir une voiture pour le ravitaillement et l'accès aux pistes.
