We were in town for a wedding. This cabin was a great quiet place to have a mini vacay. Great location and easy to get to. we drove down to the lake to enjoy the view.
My husband and 2 dogs stayed at Andrea’s in February for 5 days. We loved this property it was so perfect for us. The cabin is cute and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, with nice linens, nice setup if you sleep with a bi-pap machine. The living room was very comfortable for watching a movie, and the kitchen had nice appliances and pots and pans, I cooked everyday and had everything I needed. But for ME the real selling point was this was the perfect place for my dogs,it was so easy because they are used to a dog door so they could use the run whenever they needed.I would definitely love to come back and stay again when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake. Thanks again.
The place was decent overall but the bathroom is way too small. Once you sit down on the toilet both legs are touching the walls. There is no room to wipe or move or anything. The shower is also small and you cannot get out from under the spray of the water to do anything. There is a bidet which didn't help much and the shower has a handheld sprayer but to get out of the spray of the water you have to hold the sprayer the whole time which isn't easy while trying to take a shower. The house was not as clean as it should of been either. The rugs had dog hair all over them and there was two barstools that had velvet material covering them that were also covered in dog hair. Not sure how that is even possible unless someone put their dog up there or had dog hair covered blankets laid up there. I have stayed in A frames before and knew what to expect but the bathroom was essentially unusable. I also have stayed in numerous places that allow dogs since I travel with my own dog. I have never stayed in a place with dog hair that bad before. I know how hard it is to keep dog hair completely cleaned but this was due to not taking the time to properly clean. The hair wasn't from my dog since I have a french bulldog that has short hair. The dog hair we could see on the bathroom rug, living room rug, outside rug coming in, and on the barstools was long blonde hair most likely from a golden retriever or similar breed. The checkout time was also changed from noon to 11am the day we left.
