A large and comfortable house tastefully restored.

  • Ground floor: spacious living room with fully equipped open-plan kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, freezer) opening onto a large 80m² terrace (large table, sun loungers, barbecue, ping-pong table, etc.), lounge (TV, DVD player) with fireplace, 1 bedroom (queen-size bed), laundry room (washing machine, dryer), shower room with toilet, and a separate toilet. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms (1 with a queen-size bed + a single bed, 1 with a double bed + a single bed, 1 with two single beds, and 1 with four single beds), 2 shower rooms, and a separate toilet. Optional extras: End-of-stay cleaning €80, bed linen rental €6 per bed, and towel rental €3 per person.
    For rentals of two consecutive weeks, bed linen rental is free.
    Baby equipment available on request. Enclosed garden (swing/slide, pétanque court). Private parking.

    Shops 2 km away. Equestrian center 2.5 km away, river fishing and hiking trails nearby. 10 minutes from the sea and the beaches of Omaha Beach.

Scooter trip to Normandy Battlefields

Booked a scooter trip and stayed here as a group. We loved the house and the grounds and could not fault anything. The host wss very responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend this property.

Summer Holiday

Lovely big property just outside the village. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. Safe securely fenced garden for the children to play out with no worries. We enjoyed local walks and trips to the local sights.

Absolutely first rate

The property is superb. My friends and I, 5 of us on motorcycles, had a wonderful stay. Important for us was the secure parking round the back of the property out of site of the main road. The location was perfect for our needs with most of the D-Day sites we wished to visit within easy distance. The property itself is light and airy, the rooms comfortable and spacious with communal spaces if required. Very well maintained. None of us had any complaints. Recommended.

Bring your own everything

The property manager was nice but it was challenging to communicate - Google translate helped a bit. The bedding and towels were extra and when I asked where the extra toilet paper was kept, I was told to go buy some when the store opened the next day! There were no basics in the kitchen either - sugar, oil, etc. the house itself is comfortable and well kept but echoes with hard floors throughout. The drive is on a curve where people come around quickly. We were almost sideswiped pulling onto the road.

Great house for large group

We have just come back from a stay here as a group of 13. This is a great house in a great location. Close to Omaha beach and Bayeux, and within easy reach of the other D-Day beaches and beyond. We were 7 adults and 6 children (aged 3 - 17). The bedrooms were large and spacious, as was the kitchen/dining area. There was also a large garden with swings and a slide to keep the kids entertained! The only downside was that there was only one WC upstairs between 11 of us, although there were another 2 toilets downstairs so not a big issue. The bathrooms, WCs, Kitchen and bedrooms were nice and clean, although some areas of the house could have a bit more attention to detail (for example there were dead flies on the window sill in the dining room) and the crockery, utensils and towels were a bit tired. However, we were overall happy with everything. This is a great house and is reasonably priced, and I would recommend to anybody, and would consider staying here again.

The kitchen was great, with a very new fridge, microwave, and great coffee brewer (with pods provided!). The dining table was awesome, with 14 seats - plenty of room to spread out!

A beautiful house which served myself and friends perfectly for our needs. If i had to find any complaint it was only theWiFi which was a little inconsistant but as we used the property as a base to explore the history and culture of the area it didn't interfere much.If visiting D-Day sites as a group I can highly recommend it.

The house looks large in the pictures but is even bigger when you arrive. There is plenty of utensils and plates for large groups.The communication. From the host although in French was easy to translate and understand and was exceptional.The house exceeded mine and my parties expectations and we would not hesitate to book it again. The value of the house is also fantastic, with the location also being excellent for tours of the D day beaches and close to local shops on trevieres and Bayeux.Thank you Beatrice.

Superb accommodation in amazing location.

A lovely house that catered well for our family of 12 ranging from 6-62. The spacious garden and ping pong table kept the children well entertained, the bbq was a hit and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. Lovely decor throughout the house - almost wish the weather wasn’t great just to use the fire - and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for the Bayeux Tapestry and the D-Day landings giving us plenty of opportunity to explore and learn. Would be more than happy to stay there again in the future. The host was great to communicate with and the option of the end of stay clean helped to take some pressure of us at the end.

Très bon séjour chez Béatrice. Grande maison fonctionelle et très bien équipée pour un groupe de 3 familles avec enfants/adolescents. Grand jardin et BBQ, table de ping pong pour profiter des beaux jours. Proche de la plage d'Omaha pour visiter ou faires des promenades. Gîte en Normandie

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, gîte très propre, bien équipé, tres agréable, belles chambres et une grande pièce de vie Un extérieur génial, très beau terrain et une terrasse bien exposée, nous avons mange dehors tous led midis Je recommande ce gite sans problème Je regrette juste de ne pas avoir pu rencontrer la propriétaire ,nous avons échange par téléphone, ceci dit BEATRICE est très gentille et arrangeante ,merci Sylvie
