The pillows were black and dirty the bathroom is covered in black mildew and mold and the beds are on plywood with roll up mattresses

Awesome Birthday Present
For my boyfriend’s birthday, his friends and I surprised him. It was a tight fit for 5 adults, but it was an overall awesome surprise. The communication with Sal was easy, and he was always able to answer my questions. The Mammoth Inn is easy to walk to/from The Village. I would definitely stay again!

Affordable and nice place to stay
We enjoyed our time in Mammoth and the place was nice and affordable. I would say that the first night we stayed someone was operating a washing machine which we could hear through the walls. It was late around 11 to 12 and it was loud. Overall though we liked the place and things settled down the 2nd night.

Just Rude.
We booked this spot specifically because of the jacuzzi tub. The listing said it had a hot tub and the pictures obviously showed the jacuzzi bathtub. Upon arrival there was a sign saying that the jets for the tub were turned off. When we contacted the property manager to discuss our options we were told that it was our fault for picking the wrong listing and that he could offer no help. He told me that I misread the listing that clearly said hot tub and started blaming my illiteracy for our worthless jacuzzi tub instead of just apologizing like anyone in hospitality would know to do. The spot wasnt bad but the management was condescending, demeaning and rude. Also the chocolates they left were old and stale and the Keurig machine was disgustingly filthy.
