We chose the rental due to location to the state park (which was still closed due to flooding), but also for the fire pit, comfortable beds and screened in porch. We were delighted with the space and my kids loved that there were a few toys. I read lots of reviews before booking, and some said wi-fi was an issue, but it worked great for us during our three night stay. However, cell service was terrible in the area, so don't rely on it for directions. Our only complaint was the fire pit was completely full and hadn't been cleaned out. Someone had used charcoal in it. We didn't mind needing to clean it, but couldn't find a shovel. We improvised with a fast food cup, so it took a while, but the kids loved cooking their own hot dogs and making smores! We brought a few pieces of firewood, but also found a few there.
