We are a large family, with 5 boys , who enjoyed fishing at the lake. The house was clean , quite and was in a convenient location. We will definitely be back some day! If you are looking to get off the grid and spend some quality time with your family, you can not go wrong with this place. The listing does not do the pond enough justice. We had 9 people with us. Two people slept on a couch. One was by choice. We had plenty of room and enjoyed it so much. The property is absolutely stunning, with a lovely fire pit that we enjoyed, and a peaceful private lake that added to the serene atmosphere. The house itself was gorgeous—spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. We really appreciated the tranquil surroundings and the opportunity to unwind in such a beautiful setting. The only downside was the limited space for eating inside, and unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor dining area. Despite this, we still had an incredible time and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Five stars all around! ##### William M. We really enjoyed our stay. When the ferry was running, there was easy access to mammoth cave. I advise to check the hours ahead of time to plan accordingly. Our kids loved fishing in the pond. The adults enjoyed the view. There was a drainage issue with one of the showers but it was fixed very promptly. Overall an excellent stay! ##### Angie R. The children especially enjoyed the full size built in bunk beds and the pond that they enjoyed fishing in! The porch was welcoming with its swing and dining table! The fire pit was very nice as well! We took the Green River Ferry and were in Mammoth Cave National Park very quickly! The furniture was comfortable and the decor was beautiful! Friends and I spent the weekend at this home. It was beautiful in every way. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning. The bunk room has full sized beds so it sleeps 8\. What a gorgeous and well kept home. If you plan to visit Mammoth Cave, book tours ahead of time or you aren’t allowed in. We did Crystal Onyx cave tour instead and it was enjoyed by all! ##### Katie J. The house was beautiful the landscape was wide open and well-maintained couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The beaver moon coming up on the horizon was a pinnacle moment The owners were engaging and available and always polite.
