Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji

8/10 Good
"Lovely people, rooms were good. Beach has been largely washed away and a lot of sea weed in close made it hard to get out snorkelling with children. One day they had jet skis to help but that was only once out of 5 days. Was quite windy. Food options were quite basic. Would be nice to have some simple pizza options at dinner or similar to the bar menu available later in the day."

Tropica Island Resort - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely resort...wonderful 5 night stay. Staff are absolutely delightful and are definitely a highlight of our stay. We had to move bures after our first night as there was water leaking in the bathroom. Rooms are really comfortable..no need for air-conditioning at this time of the year...breeze through the screened louvres and fan was perfect for sleeping. Really loved having the outdoor shower."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Mana Island. It was the perfect place for our family to spend a week with so many fun things to do. The surrounding reef was amazing for snorkeling, the kids absolutely loved the beautiful pool, we loved the restaurants, and our suite was spacious, comfortable and clean, The Mana staff made the whole experience amazing with their warm, friendly, helpful and hospitable attitude. We can't wait to visit again."

Beachcomber Island Resort

Beachcomber Island Resort

8/10 Good
"As most places in Fiji when its between meal times the only options for food is the little store where u can only get like 5 or 6 different snacks like chips ,icecream an biscuits. Needs to be meal options all the time incase you miss the set times for food. Also picking where to stay id recommend above suits only or private villas as the rooms that are double story if you have a bottom room u can hear ppl walking around all hours as they are wooden floors soo very noisey an not good for light sleepers"

Pocket Guide: Western Division Mamanuca Islands Hotels

An archipelago of some 20 islands just off the coast of Viti Levu, the Mamanuca Islands are among the most developed in Fiji for tourists and are surrounded by picture-perfect South Pacific scenery. Enjoy a stay near the prestigious dive sites, including Gotham City and the Big W, in the Mamanuca Islands, with shoals of colourful fish darting around everywhere through the crystal clear waters.

There’s windsurfing and parasailing, and plenty of amazing breaks for surfers to catch. On the Mamanuca Islands, it’s not uncommon to encounter 20-foot waves. Of course, you may prefer something more sedate, such as sunbathing on the beach, joining a boat trip or exploring scenic little villages, in which case you’ll find plenty to enjoy.

Where to Stay on the Mamanuca Islands

You can easily make a day trip over to the Mamanuca Islands by catamaran from Denarau Island, or stay in one of the many superb resorts on the islands themselves. Most visitors will stay on either Tavarua, Malolo Lailai or Tokoriki. Resorts here cater to every requirement, whether you’re interested in a family-friendly hotel or a luxurious all-inclusive resort.

Make the Most of Your Stay on the Mamanuca Islands

Pamper yourself with treatments in a full-service spa, seek shade around the pool, or play 18 holes on a golf course next to your hotel. Whatever your interests, the Mamanuca Islands have everything needed for a memorable stay in Fiji. Several islands have their own reefs, perfect for diving and snorkelling, while others have private beaches, so you can spend the morning catching some rays, before heading back to a delicious seafood lunch, in preparation for another few hours of blissful relaxation.

Idyllic Solitude amid Natural Beauty

Several of the Mamanuca Islands are completely uninhabited, but have jetties used by local fishermen. While you’re probably not going to be the only one with the idea, if you’re looking for seclusion then you have a good chance of finding it in an isolated cove. Indulge your Robinson Crusoe fantasies, curl up with a good book or take a paddle in the surf – there are few more iconic South Pacific images than this.
