Pros: the staff spacious rooms
Cons: Variety of food in room service
The hotel is built in a great location at the heart of sliemma. They have a friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were convenient space. the food wasn't that great but your still surrounded by variant restaurants around you. In my opinion, the hotel gives you the right service for the right amount of money.

Unfreundliche Bude

Posted 29-Dec-2016
Pros: Nichts!
Sehr uninteressiertes Rezeptionspersonal, extrem langsam.

POOR

Posted 29-Oct-2016
Pros: The food and restaurants were very good.
Cons: The room.
Location: Sliema is a lovely place with lots of shopping and boat trips etc.
The room we booked online with Expedia was nothing like what we received! It was a shoebox with the bathroom door swinging onto the bed. The decor was 1970's furniture with the wardrobe doors stuck and just movable! The room is very small for 2 people and desperately needs updating! The "sea view" was a door at the side of the room.

A 5* view of Valletta

Posted 28-Oct-2016
Pros: The fantastic view and pool overlooking Valletta harbour. Great night manager who was professional, friendly and helpful.
Cons: The 4* room we had was very small and tired. It needed attention to bring it back up to standard - only the beautiful view compensated. On complaining to Reception we looked at a 5* room but was unwilling to pay the extra €400 for what seemed to be a larger tired room overlooking the garden. The dine around was good but the restaurant, which served an okay breakfast, was not good on an evening. We had it included in half board but I would not have paid for it as there are far more better places to eat. I arranged for champagne to be on our room on arrival but it was not there. I had to prompt Reception which spoilt the surprise!
Location: Perfect location to relax or discover Valletta and the rest of the island.

A good hotel in an ideal location

Posted 14-Oct-2016
Pros: Pool areas
Cons: Lack of facilities in the evening
Location: Very convenient for 5 minute ferry ride to Valletta. Silema offers very good shopping and dining choices.
We stayed in a garden view room which was spacious with an equally large bathroom. The room was generally kept very clean, but dust could be seen under the fridge and dressing table. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the shower powerful. The room decor was dark having dark brown curtains, nets, furniture and a black sofa. The staff were efficient and Serena on reception was particularly pleasant and helpful. The rear garden area is very tastefully designed with interconnecting pools. This was generally shaded so would be good in high summer. The sunny lido area across the road, which has beautiful views of Valletta, can be accessed from below the hotel and is very spacious with its three pools and ample sunbathing areas. Our main reservation about the hotel was the lack of facilities in the evening - no bar and no real lounge seating area, just a few easy chairs in reception.
