While it's a bit away from the main tourist attractions, I had fun walking around the local area, especially since I didn't get hassled to look at shops or go into restaurants, unlike in the area where most of the tourist attractions and hotels are. Close to a good spot to watch sunset and watch the world cup once it's dark! Access to WiFi has a time limit, which is my only complaint as it wasn't clear in the booking information and the system doesn't allow you to log off, so you have to use your allotted time all at once (Of course, this may be me missing something). It was good for this purpose, given 24h pickup. It isn't the most luxurious hotel, but it is comfortable enough and the staff are friendly. While it is pricey for what it is, it is standard for Maldives I suppose. Spaces room, new bathroom and with all amenities. Breakfast was a selection of varieties of cuisines. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Location close to the beach, shops, eatery etc. thank you to the staff who work tirelessly to provide warm services. All in all I truly enjoyed my stay in beehive. Decor is outdated and could be changed. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good. However, the restaurant that the front desk woman recommended was awful. Communication via email and phone was poor; we had a mixup regarding the airport transfer. The area around the hotel is gross. Trash everywhere, constant construction, and not very walkable. I would not stay here more than one night due to the location.
