Wonderful Stay
If you are considering a wonderful spot for you next visit to Malaga, we strongly recommend Mercedes apartment in Huelin. Communication with Mercedes was terrific, and check in/out a breeze. The apartment is fully stocked with everthing you will need including beach towels. We were even greeted with some lovely staples to start us off -- so very thoughtful! As previous reviewers have stated, it's in a great location across from the beach and just about a 30 walk to Malaga Centro. Lots of great restaurants and bars close by -- we especially loved Chuptirya for the great seafood and the little El Chispito bar for a glass of wine on our way home (the owner was lovely!). We also recommend Chiringuito Los Compadres. The beach is much better than the one across the street. You can rent two sunbeds and an umbrella for 10 euros. The staff are marvellous and the food terrific, fresh, and reasonably priced. Thanks again for the stay Mercedes! We'll be back!

Fabulous apartment in a great location. It’s about 2 kilometres from the centre of town and easy to walk into. The beach is a stones throw away and lots of cafes and restaurants. We had a fantastic few days in Malaga.

What a wonderful property! Mercedes you are an absolute gem! Such a great host. We couldn't ask for a better location, right across the street from the beach. A fabulous place to stay!
Mercedes met us as we arrived! This property was perfect for us! Clean, roomy, decorated beautifully and the balconies are a wonderful place to sit back with a glass of wine and watch the ocean and those strolling the promenade. Watching the sunrise from this apartment is magnificent! The kitchen is well stocked and along with WIFi and smart TV we were able to watch local TV, stream Netflix, HBO, etc...The building is also very secure. We wanted to stay in a more immersive neighborhood instead of an area of tourists, and we were so lucky to find this apartment in Huelin, Malaga! Within steps, or a block or two from this apartment, you will find countless bars, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, the Auto & Fashion Museum and the fabulous Huelin fresh market. It's all so convenient! The Mediterranean is just across the road with easy access to the beach, promenade and restaurants - you must try the grilled sardines! Uber to the city center is quick and about 7 euros. Bus service is also available all over Malaga. I totally recommend this VRBO - honestly, it is just lovely. We had a wonderful stay - thank you Mercedes - we will be back!!

Amazing property
We spent 3 weeks in Mercedes apartment,our flight go delayed and Mercedes herself waited for us at the apartment,when we entered the apartment,it was clean,beautifully decorated,even better than the pictures,Mercedes provided us with immediate food necessities.The location is fantastic ,just across from beautiful beaches ,there was a grocery store with everything you need just a short walk away,lots of restaurants everywhere around,”chiringuitos” famous for delicious sea food.Old Malaga downtown was 5-6 euros only.I also must address the apartment had all the supplies needed ,towels,linens ,washer and dryer,air conditioning in every room.I would like to believe that some day I will be back,Great memories.

Great flat Huelin beach
Thanks Mercedes for a fantastic trip to Huelin, Málaga. The flat was large, comfortable for 6 people (inc our children, 1 and 3 years old) and just as the photos online showed. The property was super clean, had a good supply of beach towels, baby travel cot and high chair and was over the road from the beach. Easy access to central Malaga and near a great local market in Huelin. The area had a little bit of everything we needed - beach, grocery shopping, playgrounds, restaurants and buses into central Malaga. We had a lovely time, thanks very much. Grace.

Beautiful property and great location!
We spent a week at this wonderful property and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and we'll appointed it was! Every detail was thought about .....we felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel! Location was great too! Loved the beach across the street and the beach bars with amazing fresh grilled seafood for lunch! Location was about a 20 min walk into Malaga Centro or a $5 Euro Uber ride. I will definately book this again!

Great all round experience.
This comfortable 4 bedroomed apartment in Huelin is magnificent. Immaculately clean, very spacious and extremely secure. There is road noise but the apartment is well insulated so it's not a spoiler. Mercedes, the delightful owner couldn't have been more helpful. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The beach and paseo is very close, across the road, and stretches for miles in both directions and has great facilities such as kids play parks, outdoor gyms, bars and restaurants etc. It takes about half an hour to walk into the historic area and port of Malaga or there's plenty of buses that leave from a traditional Spanish market about 500 m away or a taxi is about 3 euros. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are in abundance in the area. If you fancy a day trip to Ronda or along the coast the nearest rail station is Mario Zambrano, about 15 mins walking or cheap taxi. Taxi from airport would be 20 euros. I'd have no qualms about staying again. Loved it!

Re communication. Things came through in German and it was trial and error to understand. There is a bus route but we could not figure it out. It would have been nice to have a one page that said the number. Bus stops at. Every. And goes to. We averaged over 20,000 steps a day on our Fitbit and some days our legs got tired. Also, we had never used an induction stove top and figured it out and there was a full page booklet but again, a one paragraph primer left by the stove. Same thing for garbage. You figure it out but a one page primer. Overall a very clean property, all the start up items were there. Coffee, fruit,etc. plus you could see that people leave things, such as spices, etc. we left a couple. The promenade was great and used by so many and along the beach. Other communication concern. We had a difficult time speaking with Juan and were as much at fault in not being able to understand better. I would give this property a ten out of ten and whenever there was a question Metcedes answered it

a wonderful week in a fabulous apartment
Our apartment in the Huelin district of Malaga was fantastic. Right across the road from the sea and the Antonio Banderos Promenade. It was clean, comfortable and modern and our hostess had left some 'essentials' for our arrival - milk, bread, butter etc. We went as a family of 7 - 5 adults and 2 children and it suited us perfectly. It is located ideally for shops, restaurants and cafes and only a short walk to the bus to take us into Malaga itself. (It's only 25 minute brisk walk along the promenade if you don't want to use buses). Highly recommended.

Great Spot
Clean and spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen - be aware the cooktop is induction and you may not be familiar with that. Nicely located : Great view of the sea and the beach walk and it is quiet despite being just above a very busy four lane street. Five minute walk from buses (going and returning) and twenty-five minute walk to Old Town. Seldom had to wait more that three minutes for a bus. Numerous stores nearby for groceries and a five minute walk to a great market open until 1:00pm except Sundays. Malaga itself is very clean and friendly and we felt very comfortable at all times. Enjoyed the Thyssen and the Contemporary Museums. Not fond of Picasso. The Old Town area is extensive and fun to stroll around and pick a good fresh air table to people watch and enjoy the food and beverages. Train and bus stations are a short walk or a 20 Euro cab ride with luggage. Bus service to the likes of Marbella, Ronda and Granada is inexpensive and frequent. Enjoyed a great three weeks and lucked into almost perfect weather.

A very enjoyable weekend in Malaga
The apartment is in good location and public transport is very easy to find. On arrival we were made to feel welcome. The apartment was well stocked with coffee, fruit, water and milk. Lots of helpful information was made available. We recommend investing in multi person bus cards to get around by bus. Definitely stay here again.

The property was well appointed. When we arrived there was food as well as ample toiletries. Muffins, coffee, butter were in abundance as well as extra towels. Mercedes gave us recommendations for restaurants. And the apartment was beautifully taken decorated and had two balconies overlooking the ocean. I only wish it were a little closer to the old town city center.

This extra large apartment with its 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect for our group of four adults. We enjoyed very much the apartment, the commodities and the spectacular view facing the beach! The apartment was very confortable. The location is just great! Close to the city Center just a nice walk! You live as locals, market very close and very good restaurants! Very clean and very accommodating hostess!!!
Mercedes was a wonderful hostess! She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She allowed us to check in early on the day of arrival and late on the day we left and she even got us an extra parking space thru the neighbors, as the condo only has one spot for parking. Her home was beautiful, clean, spacious and homey. Well stocked with pots, dishes, coffee maker, and even a juicer to make freshly squeezed orange juice, to which Mercedes had some oranges for us to start off with. I cannot say enough nice things about Mercedes and her beautiful home! Malaga was also very beautiful! Thank you Mercedes for being such a wonderful hostess!!!! May God Bless you and your family!!!!

A Wonderful Spring Holiday
We, two Canadian couples, spent three happy weeks in Mercedes’ apartment which overlooks the Mediterranean. It is well situated as it is across the street from the beach with its promenade of several kilometres, many restaurants and children’s playgrounds. It is also a very short walk to the local market where the fruit, vegetables and fish are all fresh and delicious and where there is a coffee shop serving hot, delicious churros, a local delicacy. It is about a 40 minute walk (or short bus ride) to the historical old town, harbour, park, and Alcazaba. Many good, cheap restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away and we enjoyed many tasty tapas dinners. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and hot water is plentiful. In addition to the four of us, our daughter, husband and two-year-old granddaughter visited us and Mercedes kindly provided a high chair and baby bed. Mercedes answers questions and solves problems very quickly and Juan and Demelsa, our local contacts, were very helpful. They don’t speak English so we communicated by using a translation program on our phone so If you don’t speak Spanish it would be a useful thing to have. We were pleased that Juan was willing to order taxis for us the day we left as our Spanish is very limited. The only flaw, and the reason we didn’t give the property five stars, is the noisy road between the apartment and the beach. With the windows closed, however, it was pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Thank you for a great holiday!

We love this apartment!
We've stayed here twice - lots of light; south-facing balconies overlooking the Mediterranean, beautiful sunrises... we come here to escape the Scandinavian winters, so sunlight is high on our list of priorities! This apartment is excellent for families - we bring the kids and the grandparents - it's spacious and has everything you need. Wifi and heating both work well. Clean, well-maintained. We were ready to come back despite the lack of dishwasher last year, and this year we were delighted to discover the remodeled kitchen and new dishwasher! The owner is very helpful and friendly - ready to take of any needs that arise. The location is great: we originally chose it for easy access to beach and playgrounds for the kids, and then we discovered how much we enjoy the neighborhood itself, the lively mercado, the seafood. The center of Malaga is easy to get to by bus or taxi, but we ended up walking most of the time. You only need a car if you plan to visit other towns in the area, such as Granada or Ronda. My only hesitation in giving a good review is that we may face more competition in booking next time we want to come!

Thank you for renting your great apartment to us. So pleased to find everything there for us, towels, beach towels and blankets for the beds, both showers with baths so perfect with kids, no problem at all with hot water, and hair dryers provided. Ample storage space in kitchen and thank you again for groceries left, we arrived late in the evening and were so grateful for milk and bread, and beautiful fruit bowl. Perfect location for us, we are a family with our two young daughters, 6 and 2, so playgrounds along the beach front were a hit, we have family and close friends in walking distance so no need for a car. Was soll ich noch schreiben. Wohnung super alles vorhanden. Küche eingerichtet wie zuhause. Wohnung ein Traum. Direkt am Strand. Liegen kann man mieten bei Merendero Casa Jose 100Meter entfernt für 4 Euro inkl. Schirm. Supermärkte 5-7Min. Gehentfernung. Gute Busverbindungen und Taxis sehr günstig. Wenig Touristen in dieser Gegend. Spanier sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Für Ausflüge sehr zentral. Kontakt zur Vermieterin Mercedes ausgezeichnet. Wir fühlten uns fast wie zuhause. Wir können diese Wohnung und Lage nur empfehlen

Tolle Tage in Malaga
Nach einem sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Empfang in der Wohnung, wir kamen etwas zu früh und mein Mann benötigte eine Ruhephase, haben wir zuerst die direkte Umgebung erkundet. Man findet alles zum Einkaufen direkt in der Umgebung. Das Meer quasi vor der Haustür lädt zu spontanen Sonnen-Stunden ein. Auch die Gastronomie in der fußläufigen Umgebung fand in unserer Familie großen Anklang, sowohl Tapaz- als auch Meeresfrüchtefans kamen voll auf ihre Kosten. Zusammen mit der überaus komfortablen und geräumigen Wohnung waren es sehr schöne Tage in Malaga. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren fünf, nicht mehr jugendliche Männer, die zum Radfahren nach Malaga gekommen waren. Nach schweißtreibenden Radtouren ins "Hinterland" von Malaga haben wir uns in der sehr gut eingerichteten Wohnung (Küche+, Bäder+ , Betten+ ) bestens erholt. Toll, dass ein abgeschlossener Parkplatz zur Verfügung stand.

We stayed for X-mas/New year Holiday, 7 people, icluding my disabled mother. It was a very good apartment, lot´s of space, very clean and well kept. Balcony facing the sea was a large plus, we used it a lot. We cooked a few meals and found the kitchen utensils were OK, could be updated on knives and plates, but o/w OK. We arrived late and found a bottle of wine, some cakes, fruit and coffe in the kitchen, that was a blessing! Thank You I can highly recommend this place!

Prachtig en zeer goed verzorgd appartement in bruised Malaga
Met het gezin (6 volwassenen) hebben wij genoten van het prachtige en goed verzorgde appartement. In het appartement ontbreekt het aan niets, moderne inrichting, complete keukeninrichting, ruime hoeveelheid handdoeken (ook voor naar het strand) en 4 slaapkamers met goede bedden en airconditioning. Het appartement ligt (net) buiten het centrum (lopend 40 minuten, met taxi in 10 minuten voor gemiddeld € 7,00). Het appartement kijkt uit over het strand. Enig nadeel is dat tussen appartementencomplex en strand een drukke verkeersweg loopt. Met name wat geluidsoverlast als de ramen open staan. Eigenaar is vriendelijk en heeft serviceverlening hoog in het vaandel staan. Reageert vrijwel direct op mailcontact en sms. Is daarin oplossingsgericht en zeer hulpvaardig.

Prachtig appartement in Malaga .
Heerlijke week gehad in Carretera de Cadiz . Alles klopte . Hartelijk ontvangst in een mooi schoon en goed geoutilleerd appartement . Werkelijk alles was aanwezig . Mooi uitzicht op zee en op loop afstand ( 30 minuten ) van de stad . Wij waren met zeven vriendinnen en hebben vanuit het appartement de stad bekeken . Veel te zien , mooie musea , de Kathedraal , Alcazaba en Gibralfaro , leuke terrassen . Wij zijn enthousiast over de stad en zeker ook over Mercedes Cea Torres . Ze antwoordt snel op mails en een appje .

L'appartement est parfait et parfaitement situé.
Le quartier de Huelin est très agréable avec ses plages, son marché et tous ses cafés. C'est un quartier animé, proche du centre ville (5min en bus) et éloigné des touristes. L'appartement est très joli et confortable et Mercedes est très à l'écoute et réactive à la moindre question.

Goed appartement. Schoon, volledig voorzien, leuk terras met uitkijk op zee.
In oude fabriekswijk gelegen goed, modern appartement op de 1e verdieping. Strand voor de deur. Wijk wordt steeds meer trendy. Goede verbinding naar de stad en bus (10 minuten) of te voet (25 minuten). Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Gastvrouw heeft goed gezorgd voor lekkernij en ontbijt, i.v.m. aankomst in de nacht. Minpuntje: het kan gehorig zijn door de drukke weg. Voor ons geen probleem.

Flott Weekend i Malaga
Vi var 6 venninner på tur til Malaga for en langweekend. Vi er meget fornøyd med oppholdet. Leiligheten var helt perfekt for oss. Gangavstand til strand og en passe fin spasertur inn til sentrum. Veldig ren og pen leilighet og veldig gode senger. Vi kan virkelig anbefale denne leiligheten.

Eine sehr schöne große Wohnung, modern und viele Annehmlichkeiten wie Klimaanlage, Wlan, TV, Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner, Geschirrspüler etc. also komplettt ausgestattet! 2x Badezimmer haben wir bei 5 Personen sehr begrüßt! Matratzen übrigens sehr gut! Die Lage der Wohnung mit Aufzug hatte wir eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer! in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft viele kleine Geschäfte, Bars, Restaurants und Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Gute Verkehrsanbindung und preiswerte Taxifahrten. Nach Malaga sind es nur 15 Minuten bei Fuß. Wir werden jederzeit wieder diese wohnung mieten und können sie nur wärmstens emphelen. Familien aus Holland!

La propiedad es amplia, luminosa y bien cuidada. Tiene absolutamente todo lo que uno necesita. El trato tanto de la dueña como de la persona que nos atendió fue excelente. Recomiendo esta propiedad sin dudas!
