You all have pleasant travel..
Great hotel near Kaaba. I arrived at around 9am and was able to check in without any problem. Front desk is very helpful and friendly, they were able to help me find a taxi when I needed one. There was a free shuttle bus service to Kaaba every 30 min which was great. Rooms are also very clean, will definitely book again.
I was pleasantly surprised. I’m a clock tower person, having stayed probably 30 nights or more total over 5-7 years in all the hotels other than the Raffles. This is about as nice (in the rooms) as the clock tower. Lobby and everything outside the rooms, not as much.
It’s a 15-20 min walk to the courtyard, downhill. It’s about 7 min walk to where the bus drops you, so I’d never take the bus down. You MUST take the bus back because it’s a significant uphill. Alhamdulillah they changed the system so it’s no longer a bus per hotel at Ajyad bus station, but instead all hotels in one bus and they stop at all hotels on Ajyad Street. This is great for this hotel because you never have to wait for a bus, they leave every few minutes and you’re the first stop. Unfortunately you have to cross busy Ajyad street because it drops you on the opposite side. Super difficult with strollers, but that’s Saudi life!
Food I think is non-existent at this hotel. We tried one day at one of the buffets and were excited by the low 50 SR price but then realized it’s not even worth that.
There is a little cafe and grocery store on the lobby floor which is great.
I found my new last 20 days of Ramadan hotel, which is the only time clock tower prices are no longer worth it.
EXCELLENT HOTEL but poor hotels.com booking system
Amazing....hotel
Only problem I faced was that one of the 2 bookings could not be found in the hotel system.they gave me 1 room but for the 2nd room I had to wait for about 2 hours or so.
It was a problem with HOTELS.COM system. It happened to me twice this year.
All was good but wifi was terrible most of the time its not working. So make sure to have ur own internet when u arrive cuz its stops suddenly many times during the day. Also the air-conditioning was very cold no matter how high u set the temprature its very strong.. so also bring long sleeved clothes. No other comment
