"Always go for the deluxe rooms there are resident Waterbucks there and Hippos and crocodiles in the river and Elephants cross the river at night to feed in front of the rooms , the hotel sits just outside the Malelane gate an area famous for Leopards along the Crocodile river area the hotel has very good food and friendly staff "

From the staff who greeted us to the ranger and tracker who accompanied us in open Land Rovers on our small group safaris, every single person gave us care, attention and made us feel so very welcome. "We had a wonderful stay at Marloth Park Riverside lodge. It is located about 15min drive outside the KNP crocodile bridge gate. The food was just ok but the staff is absolutely fantastic. Everyone is so nice and so welcoming. There are only a few rooms in the property. The ground floor rooms are bigger. "When we arrived we had food in the sister lodge next door 2 mins walk away but it was stunning. Braai buffet style. Then had dinner and breakfast as Muluwa on our last night as it was reopened with new management. Absolutely perfect. Cannot fault it. We paid for a couple of the excursions. "Only 4 rooms so a very personal touch. Right in Marloth Park, our last day the Zebras turned up for breakfast, it was lovely. Staff were great. We had evening meals included, a three course meal (no choices though, so be aware, but lovely). Drinks were in the fridge, you help yourself and write them in the book.
