If you are driving, it is a very good idea to get clear instructions from the hotel before arriving, as Google Maps and Apple Maps were quite confusing and you can spend long time searching in the area. The hotel is right near the old town, but the street itself was a bit dirty, no fault of the hotel.
The staff was very helpful, the room very comfortable and the breakfast absolutely outstanding! The best we have had in Germany. Very well served too, in beautiful and elegant china in an elegant dining room.

The central place to stay in Basel. Right next to the central train station. Staff is very helpful and professional. It was not a problem at all to switch to a room with separate beds on short notice. Only stayed one night with an early departure by S-Bahn.
