"Positive things: price was under $100, great value for Maine coastline in summer. Beautiful view onto the harbor, convenient to downtown restaurants and coffee shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness- bathroom could use some sprucing up, mold in the shower. Breakfast- need spoons if you are serving cereal,and yogurt but about what one would expect overall at the price point. Noise- someone was pounding on an adjacent room door for what seemed like half an hour at 6 am. Not their fault but seemed unreasonable."

"A very welcoming, clean, comfortable, spacious home with room for the family, in a very quiet, woodsy setting near the mid coast Maine shoreline. It was the perfect inland, peaceful setting for prepping for our family's nearby wedding. Our family, plus 1 bestie, enjoyed the home's large, open family spaces. The delightful beach themed (& appreciated) large bedrooms were wonderful for ending (& starting) the day. There's quiet, casual outdoor seating areas for relaxing, enjoying nature in both the front and back yards. Our old, beagle-sized dog safely roamed the well-tended grounds, having her own mini vacation. The kitchen had everything to cook, bake, grill, entertain, etc, if inclined. It was a homey, relaxing refuge for such a busy weekend. 10 minutes to stores if needing last minute items—even closer mini marts. Plenty of parking."

"I highly recommend this place! far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with our 3 children. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, very nicely designed. The lobby was nice and welcoming, staff very friendly and helpful. I think the photos don't show just how nice this place really is! would love to come back if I am back in the area."

Peaceful, Centrally Located Home with Seasonal River Views

"Overall, our experience was great. Jason, our host was responsive and accommodating. The location is convenient to both Rockland and the lower mid-coast sites, shopping and restaurants.Although not listed as handicap accessible, it was suitable for my situation, as discussed with our host.Only negatives were the lack of light blocking window coverings in the bedrooms and outside seating area. This may well be our go-to place when visiting our son who lives nearby!"
Bright 2-Bedroom Apartment Near Downtown Thomaston

"This cozy standalone house with two bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, living room, and bathroom was a comfortable place to spend a summer evening in early August in Thomaston. The property is away from town, but not distant so long as you have a car. Google Maps will give you a weird route getting here, so look at the map and take the short route rather than looping around the unnecessarily long way. I was a bit concerned upon arrival that the place only had a single window AC unit, but it quickly cooled the place down so my worry was misplaced. The morning that we departed it was raining steadily, and the door to enter the place is directly beneath the down-sloping roof, and there's neither a gutter nor any other covering to stop the runoff from the roof drenching you when you step through the door. There's plenty of parking, and the unit is in good repair and well-furnished."

"We have stayed at this property twice, and each time we are impressed and happy with the house, Sue, (the manager of property, and Jackie, (the owner of property). These people are a class act. If there is a problem or issue, someone is in contact with you almost immediately. The house itself is lovely, and I would highly recommend this property for your next vacation in the Owl's Head, Maine location."

"Quiet outpost, beautiful sunrises, fun decor. Great home base for quiet pondering and for exploring mid coast Maine. Deer, bald eagles, porcupine, squirrels, ground squirrels, geese, ducks, gulls. Tides, lobster boats, woods, rock beach, beautiful trees and flowers, and stars galore."
