Our rooms were spotless and the beds very comfy. We had beautiful lakeside views. The bathroom was modern and well organised. A bit of a problem with WiFi but a storm and a reboot of the system post afterwards fixed it. Pillows were in short supply and whilst one room was fine and they were very good the other had very thin pillows and on requesting more was told that had run out. The location was excellent. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there. Front of house felt a little like it was being run on guess work rather than experience. Parking was interesting and tight.

Highly recommend this hotel. The most unbelievably incredible view of the alps and Lake Thun (make sure you book a balcony room). Wonderful breakfast included (not just continental). Sauna, steam room wellness spa on premises. Friendly people, and cute mountain town; just about 15 minutes from Interlaken. Loved this hotel, we returned and booked another night after some traveling around the area.

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

The hotel has great air conditioning! I was there during a heat wave & the room temperature could be adjusted unlike some other nearby hotels. The staff was polite and helpful. The tram is right outside the front door and only 3 stops to the train station. My only suggestion is to have a mini fridge. It would have been helpful for cold drinks and snacks during the heat wave.

Clean room, helpful staff, nice selection at breakfast, lucky to have a view of the polybahn. Room was very hot but fans were provided. Nice seating area in reception with coffee machine, water, fridge and microwave.
