Magnetawan River Provincial Park Provincial Park

We were not prepared for the fact that there is no elevator and no parking which made things very difficult. The view from our room was a back alley with homeless people and the fire escape connecting to it which was very unnerving. The room had a sliding glass door to the bathroom which gave no privacy at all and the sink was at the foot of the bed because the room was so tiny. The bed was hard as a rock and there no place to set anything. It was disappointing unfortunately. I understand they call it a budget friendly hotel at $300 a night but I didn’t expect quite this bad.

This hotel (by Toronto standards) is great value for money! A spacious, spotless modern suite, free parking, free wifi, good breakfast buffet with nice variety, good amenities (pool, gym, etc). The property is well maintained, the staff is helpful and the experience seamless. No room service but there’s currently a complimentary dinner on Wednesdays and plenty of food options within an easy drive. Great for business or solo travellers or anyone looking to stay within the greater Toronto area at a significantly better rate than downtown hotels, especially when the room rates are on sale or there’s a mid-week discount.
