Stayed a week until today Haven't been in a position to book a full week or another week in advance.
Front desk informed me this morning that tonight I would have to pay approx 50% more and move to another room, since they have a bus load of people booking in.
I said I would stay on another week if they can keep my price the same as before.....but desk staff were unable to do that.
My reason for staying at the Waterfoot was solely to be close to the Gransha Hospital where my sister has been a patient for the past seven months......so I could visit her 2-3 times a day
So I left.....and have just booked into the newly renovated and constructed Da Vinci Hotel.......... a beautiful and modern boutique hotel with a beautiful restaurant/bar and an amazing cafe/coffee shop as well.............at a price well below that requested by the outdated Waterfoot hotel for tonight. I will stay here for at least the next week or two. When my wife arrives from the US in a week or two we will stay at Da Vinci Hotel. Da Vinci has the same owner as the Ebrington Hotel.

My husband and I stayed for one night to break our journey back to Larne ferry port. We were expecting a small apartment and were pleasantly surprised it was a 3 bed roomed house.

Spotless room, great amenities, helpful staff. The website was a bit confusing about the availability of breakfast, but there was cereal, toast, fresh fruit available in the kitchen.
