This cabin is located across from the Maggie Valley Country Club/Golf Course. Everything is on ONE LEVEL in this cabin (2 King Beds). The front porch is the perfect place to enjoy in the morning & evenings! The interior is warm & inviting with a stone fireplace. There is bountiful wildlife in the area & the driveway allows parking for two cars. Excellent cell service and Wi-Fi, flat driveway, low elevation. Excellent Cell Service | Strong Wi-Fi for Remote Working | Low Elevation | 4WD Not Necessary | Across from Maggie Valley Country Club Raven's Haven is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and Lake Junaluska. We love the proximity to Maggie & Waynesville as we are located just across from the Maggie Valley Country Club. You will have an opportunity to catch glimpses of the area black bears, elk and turkey, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as enjoy area conveniences. We hope you create bountiful memories at our cabin. PEACEFUL mountain views from the front porch. The cabin offers guests a gas fireplace, a covered pavilion with a propane grill and outdoor kitchen with picnic tables, washer & dryer w/complimentary detergent, WIFI, and a SmartTV in the living room. THE SPACE When you arrive, you will be greeted by the seclusion of the cabin. Once inside, you will enjoy an open concept for the kitchen/dining room/living room and a gas fireplace. Bedroom 1: King Bed (Main Level) Bedroom 2: King Bed (Main Level) 2 Full Baths (Main Level) We provide all basic amenities, but you will need to bring everything you personally require to have an amazing Mountain Cabin experience with you. WASHER AND DRYER Strong WiFi most days, but when the weather is bad, no guarantee. Gas fireplace Propane grill (each guest who uses it is required to clean it after use) Opportunity to enjoy scenic views off the porch with a hot cup of coffee or tea! Although the cabin is located just above Soco Road, you will feel comfortable and at home. It is very peaceful. Other things to note: In addition to the nightly rate, the following fees will apply: $125 Cleaning Fee (includes extensive cleaning and turnover) INCLUDED IN TOTAL PRICE $100 Pet Fee (non-refundable) (\*Note on pets: One dog under 50lbs will be accepted for $100 per booking.) 11% Tax – NC State & Haywood County Taxes. • Please note: Late checkouts without prior approval will incur a $100 fine. We come to the area several times a year to ride our motorcycles. The check in was so easy and we found the house extremely clean and comfortable. We only made coffee in the morning and appreciated that some was provided. The neighborhood was quiet. This is by far the best house that I have rented . We have no complaints!! ##### Kim R. Perfect location & easy to get to. The only thing that was a little tough for me is the parking and that's ONLY because I drive a Suburban and the parking spot beside the house was tight for my "bus" (as my son calls it). Note for motorcyclists, however...the driveway is quite steep and difficult to park a heavy Harley. If you bring a Harley or other heavy bike, recommend finding an off-location to park it. If no motorcycle, you'll enjoy this cabin. Handy to downtown Waynesville and surrounded by beautiful views! Glad we found this cabin! ##### David K. Had a number of issues at this property: 1) the guest toilet started leaking at the end of our visit; 2) a lightbulb burned out with no replacements available; 3) guest shower spews water so the floor got soaked several times (no extra towels, so we had to use the washer/dryer several times for that and toilet leak cleanup); 4) many bugs; 5) place wasn’t very clean and was, compared to our other rental places, very poorly appointed - I’d describe it as pitiful. Lack of tableware and decent cookware, no dish drainer or hand towels, broken ice tray in freezer. We ended up buying paper plates, plastic ware, paper towels and small towels because of the lack of tableware and greasy-feeling dish ware. Four adults couldn’t sit comfortably in the living room without using a kitchen chair, and the 2nd bedroom is not friendly to ‘fluffy’ adults.
