You will need to complete a rental agreement after booking with us, provide proof of ID for verification purposes, and provide a $300 security deposit hold. This hold will take place a few days before your booking and will be released a few days after your booking. These things will be needed in order to receive any check-in information. UP TO 2 DOGS ARE ALLOWED PER STAY, but you must select pets at the time of booking. The pet fee will automatically be included in the listed (host) fees. If this is not selected at the time of booking, there will be an additional $125 pet fee charged. Additional dogs may be considered, on a case by case basis. If approved, an extra fee will apply. Guests must clean up after their dogs in the yard and neighborhood. ☆AREA☆ It is an easy drive to the property. It is a hilly area, but there are no steep or dangerous roads to climb. While we are located very close to the strip of Maggie Valley, we are in a small neighborhood area. There are houses to the left and right of our cottage. Valley Breeze is nestled in the scenic town of Maggie Valley, known for its natural beauty and proximity to outdoor recreational opportunities. Enjoy hiking, viewing waterfalls, fishing, and exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is just a short drive away. During the winter, Maggie Valley is a ski town, with Cataloochee Ski Area being only a few minutes away. The nearby Lake Junaluska area provides beautiful walking paths as well as opportunities to fish, kayak, golf, swim in the community pool, and playing rounds of pickle ball. The cottage is cozy and the large porch inviting with the hot tub and rocking chairs! It's also well stocked with anything you may need in the kitchen during your stay. The owners were wonderful. The neighborhood was wooded and fairly quiet and we were literally minutes away from restaurants, a golf course and within 30 minutes of many attractions. The only minor negatives were it appeared the cleaning service didn't do the best job wiping the kitchen counters down and cleaning out the tub & we did notice some ants in the kitchen. ##### Gina S. The owners were great at communicating and the house had everything we needed (we especially appreciated a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans; plates, etc. to cook some meals). Maggie Valley is such a calm retreat compared to other areas near the Smokey Mountain National Park. The property was clean, as described, easy to find, and check in was a breeze. The home was very clean, cozy, and quiet. We slept great every night. The location was close to restaurants, Tube World, Asheville, ski resort, and Cherokee. We took our 18 and 12 year sons with us. Perfect for a small family. The hot tub was clean. We loved the outdoor fire pit. Our host was very hospitable. The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was peaceful! The communication from the hosts was always quick and they are so welcoming! It was exactly as listed. The dog crate was perfect. The home was clean, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. It was nicely stocked. We loved the beautiful porch and the porch gates. Our dog loved to sit out there and look around. Very safe area. Would stay here again, absolutely. The home and yard were lovely. Stores and restaurants close by.
