The property manager was so overly helpful and easy to communicate with. It was very much appreciated. We were even allowed to come up a day early! …. Yes we did pay for the additional night. One thing to note, I would absolutely recommend that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle if you are staying here. The road down to the cabin is one lane gravel/dirt and not publicly maintained, so can be a slick/muddy in the rain. With a 4-wheel drive vehicle you should be good to go. It was very relaxing , cozy and had everything we needed. My boys enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. I would recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to stay in the Maggie Valley area. If you are looking for a great winter getaway consider this cabin. You need to have a truck or SUV to navigate the mountain. We enjoyed all of the amenities of the cabin, like the pool table and jacuzzi, as well as building fires in the fire place.
