Tucked on a creek with magnificent views, this newly renovated cottage will take your breath away. Set on 8 acres and surrounded by protected forest, you’ll relax and enjoy nature on the spacious back deck, covered front porch, or the creekside fire pit. Designed with the comfort of our guests and their pets in mind, Mountain Dreams has everything you need for a wonderful mountain escape. Kids Ski Free! Message us for details. Mountain Dreams offers high speed WiFi, king size beds, a game room with a pool table and ping pong table, a creekside fire pit, and a fully stocked kitchen so you will have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Set on just over 8 acres, Mountain Dreams is one of two sister cottages on this stunning property. The picturesque views will captivate you, and the soothing sound of the bold creek that runs through the property will lull you to sleep at night. Located on the western edge of beautiful Maggie Valley, this lovely cottage is perfect for those wanting to experience all the area has to offer. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort and Soco Falls, and an easy drive to Cherokee, Harrah’s Casino, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When you first arrive at Mountain Dreams Cottage, you’ll find a parking area for 2 vehicles at the front of the house, or you can pull further down the paved driveway to another parking area for 2-3 more vehicles. Relax in the swing on the covered front porch and soak in the stunning year round views and enjoy a cup of coffee. As you walk in the front door, you’ll be delighted to find an incredible floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace, and original tongue and groove walls and hardwood floors. Fully renovated with new furniture throughout, you will settle right in to this cozy cottage with both its modern comforts and original charm. The living room has tons of seating including a brand new queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, and Roku tv so our guests can stream their favorite shows. There is also a set of sliding glass doors that lead to a small deck facing the creek. From the living room, travel up a small flight of stairs which opens into the fully stocked kitchen and dining area as well as a hallway to the bedrooms. Travel down the hallway and you’ll find the guest room with a brand new and comfortable king size bed and Roku tv. Across the hall you’ll find a full bath with a stunning walk in shower. At the end of the hall you will find a spacious suite with a new king size bed, Roku tv, and attached full bath with a tub and shower, all recently remodeled. There is also a brand new washer and dryer in the closet of this room. As you travel back towards the dining area, you’ll find a spacious and fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. From the kitchen, you may either take the back door out to the spacious creekside deck with outdoor dining and gas grill, or travel down the interior spiral staircase to the first floor game room. This spacious area boasts a pool and ping pong table, Roku tv, and a classic Nintendo NES mini game console. There is also another queen sleeper sofa in this room with a memory foam mattress. well as the entrance to the spiral staircase to the downstairs game room. Outside there are so many areas for our guests to enjoy. The spacious backyard boasts a wonderful fire pit with creek access, fenced in dog area, and plenty of forest to explore if you desire. There is a private road to access the cottage. It is paved and maintained year round. Mountain Dreams is the first house you will come to on the left hand side. There is plenty of room to turn around in the parking area so guests don’t have to back down the hill. During the winter months guests should have all wheel/four wheel drive in case of snow or ice. We are available to our guests by phone, text, or message any time. Our property manager lives nearby and can help if needed as well. Mountain Dreams Cottage sits on over 8 acres at the western edge of Maggie Valley. There is a private, paved road to access the house. There is one sister cottage on the property, and the rest of the area around the cottage is protected forest land. You will need a car to best enjoy the property and all the area has to offer. There is a small flight of stairs inside the main level of the cottage, and guests must use either the interior spiral staircase or outside stone stairs to access the first floor game room. The driveway to the cottage is paved and steep. Four wheel drive is not necessary to access the cottage, but it is highly recommended in the winter months in case of ice and snow. This property has two sister cottages on over 8 acres that can accommodate up to 14 guests. Please message if you are interesting in renting the entire property for family reunions or other special events. This property cannot accommodate recreational vehicles or large trailers and is not recommended for motorcycles. We kindly request that pets are kept off the furniture and bedding. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay; gorgeous views, plenty of room, game room for the kids (and adults) easy to get to, close to Maggie Valley and plenty of shopping, sight-seeing, Soco Falls, Cherokee, etc. Creek right next to the cabin will lull you to sleep at night and it’s a great spot for pics and a little hiking. The kitchen had everything we needed-one of the best equipped I’ve ever seen in a VRBO. Great location-we went to Cherokee, Waynesville and Dillsboro. Loriel was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We ran out of propane for the grill one night and she had another one to us in 20 minutes! We had great communication with the owners about our arrival and checking to see if we needed anything. We did not have any issues, but felt like if we did, they would do anything they could to resolve quickly. I am not sure we have ever stayed in a place so well stocked. They owners have thought of everything. We appreciated how the cabin was decorated and the extra comfortable bed. Loved the view from the big windows. Mountain Dreams is a beautiful cottage that located in Maggie Valley. This cottage has everything that you need. We stayed for 4 days and only left for breakfast once. The beds are very comfortable. The best beds in a vrbo in a long time. The sounds of stream is relaxing and loved the fire pit area. It is so pretty and love the care that was given to the cottage with a fireplace. The games and game room was the inside entertainment. Love the game room! The name of the cottage is perfect! We dreamed of retiring to this view. It was gorgeous! We will be back The host Loriel and Adam were always available if we needed anything. They were very helpful! Thank you again for sharing your “dreamy” house with us. We will be back. I would add that the views were stunning, just want we needed to reset. From relaxing on the porch taking in the view, to the family playing ping pong and pool, to the (young adult) kids having fun finding salamanders in the creek, we had a wonderful time. Also, Waterrock Knob trail is nearby and a fun short trail. When a storm came through and affected the A/C, Loriel and Adam were immediately responsive, with the A/C up and running within 1/2 day. FYI for those who want to ride the train, book early (July, August). Wear matching pj's, it makes for great pictures! The cottage was beautifully decorated, and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, small details of measuring spoons and coffee was appreciated. Also appreciated was the lack of clutter that some rentals contain. Perfect amount of very comfortable seating both upstairs and downstairs to in the game room. The outside property was clean, the creek sounds were so relaxing. The distance to restaurants and various shops is perfect. We have already booked a spring trip, hoping to bring some more family. ##### Ginger M.
