Welcome to Creekside Hideaway II!

Creekside Hideaway II is a lovely mountain cabin situated on a large, private wooded lot with a gorgeous, tumbling creek that runs through the back of the property. The level yard offers an open play area for kids of all ages. The playground includes a playhouse with a slide, a seesaw, swings, tetherball, and BEST of all, a Tube Slide off the deck that takes you to the playground! The campfire is just over the wood bridge in the backyard. Enjoy a meal at the picnic table next to the creek, relax on the wrap-around rocking chair porch listening to the soothing sounds of the creek, or take a dip in the hot tub that overlooks the creek!
Inside, the home welcomes you with an open floor plan. As you enter, you are greeted with a splendid view of the knotty pine wood staircase and tasteful lodge decor. A spacious living room with cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, a recliner, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining room features beautiful knotty pine wide-plank wood floors and a dining table large enough for eight. Fully equipped kitchen to make a feast or just a cup of coffee. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed, and a bathroom between the two bedrooms. The huge master bedroom is located upstairs with an attached master bath. The master bedroom has its own private balcony that overlooks the creek. Down the hallway from the Master bedroom is the loft with 2 log bunk beds, great for the kids!

This spacious home offers the ultimate mountain experience while having all the modern conveniences and comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, extra loft space for 4 additional guests, HD digital cable, flat-screen TVs, Smart TVs, Roku, Free WiFi, and unlimited free local and long-distance phone calls.

Well kept cabin with well stocked kitchen. The facility is dated but the comfy beds, large dining, ample pots/pan, utensils, outdoor grill, etc. made our stay pleasant. Managing around just two washrooms with 10 in our party was a bit challenging but manageable.

My family has been staying at this location for many years, it is always clean and very comfortable. My grandchildren like the playground and creek so much we have difficulty convincing them to go on excursions. They all want to stay and live there forever. Leslie is an excellent host and always makes sure we have a contact available if something is needed. To date, we have not needed to contact her as the home is always ready and everything advertised is there and working.

Very beautiful home amazing property we loved the creek the hot tub well we just loved everything about it. Very spacious plenty of things for adults and children to do. Perfect location for hiking, recreation, and R&R

We truly enjoyed the outdoor amenities including teeter daughter, slide, swings, fire pit, stream, and jacuzzi. The location was just the right spot... Not too high up the mountain and just high enough to get the mountain vibe. We were able to spread out enough with seven people to get adequate sleep, yet come together for dinner and conversation. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect place to stay!

This cabin is well maintained and absolutely perfect for a vacation with family. There are plenty of beds and the back yard with the hot tub, fire pit and stream is just beautiful! The owner is very responsive and took the time to make a book with everything you need to know about places to eat, things to do, etc. 100% will be back!

Fantastic home for a retreat

My family of five adults and two children absolutely loves our time here at the hideaway! Leslie welcomed us kindly the beds were extremely comfortable!! The slide from the porch was such an awesome addition my grand daughter absolutely loved it!!! There is a beautiful creek in the backyard you can hear it running from inside if you open the windows there were a lot of amenities but I must mention the hot tub was wonderful as wellThe home was clean and well kept! My family will be back! Thank you Leslie for such a wonderful stay!

Convenient Location

This home was located in a convenient location to all the things we were interested in doing. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for some great fall colors and snow. Easy to get in and out of and a variety of restaurants in near proximity. Enjoyed our time there.

Great cabin for a family

The property is very convenient to get to and park more than one vehicle. There is plenty of seating in the living room and a large table for the number of guest that the cabin can sleep. My 3-year-old grandson had so much fun playing in the creek and the play equipment. Really enjoyed our stay.

CREEKSIDE Kid Heaven

Our boys (5 & 7) LOVED our visit here. So many fun activities to do at the cabin and close by in Maggie Valley. Super fun creek with crawdads and salamanders, slide, see saw, fire pit and hot tub. Safe yard and deck. Location was super close to all the fun activities and restaurants in town. We will be back :)

The property was exactly as described in the listing. My boys loved the creek and fire pit. My youngest loved the slide and the play area. The location was convenient to the things we had planned. I wish the cabin had been decorated for Christmas since we have a younger child. We improved by getting a small blow up tree from Walmart.

We picked this house over the others because we had 3 kids, five and under, staying with us and the playground was too good to pass up. They literally wanted to stay at the house and play most of the time so I don’t think we could have picked a better property to stay at. We will be back for sure!

Family getaway, took grandkids to SantaLand and Oconaluftee Visitor Center & Farm, Mingus Grist Mill and ate lots of great food! Wonderful burgers, wings & onion rings at Brickhouse Pizza & Wings and Carvers Maggie Valley restaurant had delicious fried chicken and fried trout. The creek was greatly enjoyed by grandkids as well as all the outdoor playground equipment. We had a wonderful time, house was easy to find and no winding roads to get to house. Time near creek and fire pit were enjoyed by all ages! Note: Old wooden picnic table has bench broken with exposed nails that needs to be removed as a safety concern as well as broken plastic Adirondack chair. There is a nice new picnic table on site. Trash bin in house has loose board that needs repairing since screws are exposed.

What a great cozy cabin! My family had a wonderful experience! Property manager was quick to assist one small issue that we had plenty of room for sleeping, the cabin was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen. The kids loved the playground outside and their adults all love the hot tub. The creek running through the back was very peaceful in the fire pit was perfect. We absolutely had a great time while visiting Maggie Valley. Would definitely rent again.

The cabin was homey with a gas fireplace, 2 great king sized beds, bunk beds and plenty of fun things for young kids to do in the yard. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived.
