Free shuttle from airport took a while, but I got to my cozy room in one piece. I got in very late, and it seemed the shuttle driver doubled as the checkin attendant at the hostel as well, perhaps accounting for the wait time. The shuttle arrives in front of a specific terminal with a sign for hotel buses which includes Hostal Viky on it. My room had two twin beds, a tv, shower, toilet, bidet, dressers, and A/C. Cozy enough for a simple layover in Madrid. Shuttle in the morning starts at 7. I got to my plane on time, and that’s all I can ask for. Thank you!

Escape from Madrid
Got a room just before hotels had to shut down. Very glad they were there. Only stayed one night before flying to Canada on one of the last flights out.

This is my third stay at hostal vicky. Just what we required before a transfer to the airport the following morning. Clean, comfortable room. Always a good nights sleep before a lenghly flight.

There is only one person working to check people in and run the airport shuttle. So the wait at the airport was long and the next day they couldn't bring us back to the airport because we needed to go back 2 hours after check out and they said they weren't going to the airport again. We booked here planning to use the shuttle because airport metro costs extra. The employees were not helpful or polite when we asked for information about the metro, and using the shuttle. The beds were uncomfortable and it was loud the entire night. Really thin walls and constant noise.

I had to wait in the lobby for a desk clerk to arrive...rang the bell continuously, but no one came to the desk...When some other guests arrived they also tried to find a desk clerk....finally someone arrived twenty minutes later...They need to leave a person at the desk and not leave it vacant for so long...also there is no elevator in the building so its very difficult to carry luggage up to the rooms...so they gave me an extremely small room with one twin bed which was on the first floor...I paid for a dbl, and the cost for that room was outrageous!..however, the room was very clean, and well restored,.,

All was good except an email address is needed to book shuttle and I couldn’t find one. I couldn’t call because my phone doesn’t work in Europe and I couldn’t find a phone in Madrid airport.

Great location for a very nice hostal.
Excellent free shuttle to and from the airport. It is also the hotel/hostal closest to the walkway over the highway if you want to walk to the airport - ten minutes to Terminal 3. Less than a five minute easy walk to the Plasa de las Hermanos Falco y Alvarez de Toledo which has an excellent variety of restaurants and stores. The room was small by American standards, but had a single bed, desk and chair, closet, TV, private bath and two windows. It had more than I needed for my stay. I asked for and got a 3:45 a.m. wakeup call for a 4:00 a.m. ride to the airport - they have two nice, clean new vans for the free shuttle to and from the airport. Metro Barajas is a ten minute walk away from the airport, while Metro Terminal 1-2-3 is a ten minute walk to the airport metro station.

Close to airport and free shuttle
This hotel had everything I was looking for. I wanted to stay close to the airport for a next morning flight and this had everything I needed for the one night I stayed. If you call upon arrival at the airport they will pick you up for free and they will also bring you to the airport as well. This worked perfect. The room was just what we needed. A place to sleep and get ready. No extras, but that was fine for our needs.

A convenient stopover in Madrid
Stayed one night as we passed through Madrid. The Hotel shuttle was much appreciated as Terminal 4 was well away from the hotel. Room, which was in a separate building to the reception, was clean and comfortable. The Manager directed us to a nice restaurant for dinner, about 5 mins walk away in the local square.

Great overnight spot before a flight.
Perfect place to stay in Barajas, the town between Madrid's airport terminals. You're steps away from Plaza Mayor of Barajas. The hostal provides free shuttle rides to the airport. Bus service frequents Plaza Mayor and Barajas metro stop isn't too far away.

IDEAL STAY NEAR AIRPORT
In easy walking distance of Terminal 3. Not overly spacious but clean and just right for a layover. Staff are courteous and helpful. No issues with the shuttle . . . very convenient. Very close to a variety of bars and restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping.

Excellent Hostal Viky
The receptionist was very helpful, she was more than a receptionist. She even told me how to get to the Hostal by bus when I called her. Very helpful, rooms were of 1st class experience, the hotel was very clean, brand new, the sheets were spotless. We used the shuttle to get to the airport which was great. All in all, loved Hostal Viky. Will be back.
