Noise, noise, noise

The place is clean, checkin easy, located close to restaurants/bars, (too close). I can't stress enough that you WILL need earplugs to sleep. Weeknights are noisy, but weekend nights are completely over the top. People yelling and screaming, pounding on trash cans, car horns... All night long until 6am when the final bars close up. Seriously! So, if you're an all night partier till 6am, it's probably a great place. Too bad, since the place itself is nice. And the earplugs have very limited effectiveness. So don't expect to sleep until 6am.

Sleepless Nights

A wonderful property with literally every convenience one could want. However, the noise on the street beginning around 10 p.m. did not abate until after 6 a.m. The music, the shouting, the boisterous drunks, the car horns -- the entire night was unbearable, even with blinds closed, windows shut, a/c on, and the help of a white noise app on my phone. It is such a shame because otherwise, everything was great. But there's no sleeping to be had at 11 Calle de la Cruz unless it's during the day.

Un lugar ideal en un entorno "hostil"

El piso está muy bien: limpieza, espacio, se adecúa a la publicidad, acceso digital...Tiene dos peros: el ascensor minúsculo aunque hace su función y sobre todo el ruido. Estar tan en el centro tiene sus inconvenientes. Es una zona de marcha y había ruido hasta las altas horas de la madrugada.

Très belle expérience de la vie madrilène et surprenante pour Pâques

Dans un quartier vivant et central, l'appartement est très agréable et bien équipé. Rien à signaler, il correspondait tout à fait à mes attentes. J’ai juste été surprise par les processions à l’occasion des fêtes de Pâques dont je ne connaissais pas l’existence et qui fût une découverte étonnante et intéressante.

Buena ubicación, buen apartamento, algunos detalles a mejorar

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, se puede ir caminando a las principales atracciones de Madrid. Eso también tiene un costo porque la zona es ruidosa por las noches por la cantidad de bares, tabernas y lugares nocturnos que hay. El apartamento tiene ventanas aislantes y bajando las persianas aun mejor. Es cómodo, ambientes amplios, luminoso. Sólo deberían mejorar algunos elementos de confort y equipamiento

Céntrico, cómodo

El apartamento está muy bien situado en edificio antiguo en 4ª planta con ascensor (muy pequeño) al lado de la Plaza Mayor y la Puerta del Sol, aunque la zona es de tráansito continuo (tanto de personas, como de vehículos), está bien insonorizado si se bajan las persianas. Sistema de climatización por aparatos de aire (correcto), buen tamaño para 4 personas, sofá cama que se hace dos camas individuales espaciosas y cama de matrimonio grande, hay edredones, ropa de cama muy limpia y toallas (4 de ducha, baño y 1 de lavavo). Muy pocos útiles de cocina (4 platos, 4 vasos....) y calentador de agua con poca capacidad ( como mucho seguidos se pueden duchar 3 personas). Aunque nos encontramos con el microondas roto, se nos cambio de inmediato. Recomendamos revisar todo antes de que Yolanda o la persona que acompañe se vaya (Yolanda encantadora).

Bien situado junto a Puerta del Sol y rodeado de bares abiertos a todas horas.

Yolanda muy amable y atenta. Apartamento limpio y cama cómoda. Ideal para una pareja que va de turismo a Madrid y le va la marcha, porque está magníficamente rodeado de restaurantes y bares de copas abiertos hasta tarde y los principales teatros de Madrid están muy cerca del apartamento. Magnífica relación calidad-precio. Si tenemos que volver, repetiremos.

Good but noisy at night

Great location. Nice condo, very clean and central. Recommend earplugs if staying over the weekend as lots of bars seem to stay open until 5 or 6 am and the patrons are noisy. Other than that it was perfect
