Welcome to the beautiful Sonshine Cabin, Conveniently located to hwy 421 Close to Madison ,Versailles and Friendship. The cabin is located on 15 ac and offers peace and quite. With 1800 sq of living space which includes a fully equipped completely renovated kitchen to prepare meals. Enjoy your meals on a custom built table in the dining area. On the back deck you can enjoy grilling on a Blackstone grill with outdoor seating. On the main level is the great room with a stone fireplace. There is plenty of seating with a big leather sectional, a sleeper sofa and a Amish rocking chair to relax. Make your way up the stairs, you will notice the beautiful handmade cedar railings. Upstairs you will find 3 private bedrooms all with Queen beds. We also have a toddler bed and provide a pack n play for smaller children. There is 1 full bath upstairs and a half bath on the main level. One of the favorite places is the front porch with seating to watch the wildlife! It is a short walk to a beautiful creek to offer hours of fun for the kids. You can also enjoy roasting
Hotdogs and s’mores at the fire pit or pitch some horseshoes. If you are looking for a peaceful park like setting then Sonshine cabin is for you. We have recently added a security camera. It is on the outside of the cabin. There are no cameras inside the cabin. We respect your privacy and added the camera for security only. The cabin is located in a private area and we felt the camera would give guests additional peace of mind.

This was the most peaceful place to stay. It had everything you would need and then some.
Wonderful place to relax and enjoy God's beautiful nature. The kitchen has been re-done and was beautiful and functional. I would highly recommend this cabin.

The perfect getaway
This cabin is literally your perfect getaway. Not a neighbor for at least a half mile away (probably closer to a mile). All you hear is birds, the trees blowing in the wind and the woodpecker in the trees in the mornings! The cabin itself is the perfect, comfortable space with a wood burning fireplace! There is a walking trail that leads to a creek with a small waterfall! The bed is incredibly comfortable and the pillows were so nice that we bought some for our own home! Full kitchen allows you to bring groceries and cook! There is a Blackstone on the back deck and an outside firepit for smores!! We enjoyed our stay and most definitely coming back in the summer!!!! Small towns and attractions all around too. Madison, IN. is a great little town on the Ohio River that is only a 20 minute drive with lots of shopping and good pub and grills! Seriously no reason to look at any other cabin! A must stay!

Our 2nd time in a few months and still just as wonderful! We love SonShine Cabin! it is so peaceful, clean and comfortable. We played alot of horseshoes over the weekend and had so much fun. We will be back this summer!

Relaxing Getaway
We had a wonderful rainy weekend at rhe Sonshine Cabin. It was so clean and comfortable. We loved having the fireplace. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We were surrounded by nature and enjoyed the trail to the creek. Our hostess, Jackie was always available to answer our questions as well as being so kind. We will definitely be returning.

Cozy Retreat
We visiting Sonshine over the fall time, and it was the perfect time of year for a nice stay! The changing colors of the trees set the perfect backdrop to a lovely cabin. Our family enjoyed bonfires, hiking in the woods, walking down the creek, and visiting the town of Madison. The hosts were very communicative and made every effort to make sure our stay was a comfortable one! The cabin was even decorated nicely with fall themed decorations and flowers. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
