Fantastic location
Great apartment in a fantastic location, close to both Funchal centre and the marina. Rosa was a great host and provided a free transfer to and from the airport which we really appreciated. The apartment is bigger than anticipated, was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay
Firstly, Rosa is a great host, very helpful and polite. We didnt have any trouble at all, she even provided us with a free airport transfer. Its the first time I see a host do that, so we appreciate it very much. Secondly, the apartment itself is really nice, clean and cozy, it has everything you need. The beds are big and comfortable, the terrace was a great bonus. The location is perfect, close to the sea cost and the city center. The dogs in the neighborhood are pretty annoying, but bringing good earplugs should solve the problem. I can totally recommend a stay here.

We were very pleased to find such a spotlessly clean convenient apartment for our visit to Funchal.
Everything was as advertised. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Rosa was very helpful and informative about the local area and we especially appreciated the airport transfers. The harbour area was only about 10 minutes walk and there is an attractive park just across the road. There is a good choice of snack bars and restaurants nearby. The bus service is good for visiting other parts of the island.

Excellent apartment in a great location
The apartment was ideal for our stay in Funchal. All facilities and equipment were exactly as advertised and the apartment was spotless. The location is just a short walk from the city centre. The apartment is generally peaceful but, as is common on Madeira, there are a number of dogs in the neighbourhood that can bark at length at any time of the day or night (outwith the control of the owner).

Great location for the price, well equipped and modern interior
Thanks Rosa for a pleasant stay, lovely cosy apartment. The transfers to and from the airport were a great addition that made it a lot easier with the children. Not far from shops or bus stops so ideal. We will be staying here again when back in Madeira. Thanks you!

Fantastic apartment, great location and spotlessly clean.
Spent a lovely week here in the middle of May. Rosa was very helpful in all her communications and answered any questions promptly. Having free airport transfers as part of the cost was wonderful as we did not know the area. The apartment was small but had everything that you required, it was spotlessly clean and had more than ample extra linen and towels. The location is very central with the centre of Funcal literally minutes walk away. You are also close to bus stops, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately the neighbors all have dogs that do bark a lot and can be quite off putting and noisy so not as peaceful as it could be but you get used to it after a couple of days. The outdoor balcony is a sun trap and lovely to sit out on. We would definitely return to this apartment and highly recommend it, excellent value for money.

Brilliant place to stay. Very close to Funchal centre and harbour. Good restaurants close by.
The property has all you need for agood holiday. The terrace was lovely. with a sunbed and comfy seats. The terrace also had alarge parasol. The beds were comfortable. Everything you needed was in the flat. Owner Rosa very pleasant and helpful.

My second stay with Rosa this time in the upstairs apartment. Lovely large terrace and good to have a huge umbrella for shade. Also good to have upstairs loo as main bathroom is downstairs. Would recommend and definitely use again myself.

The location of the property is excellent - so centrally located we didn't have to get a bus anywhere in funchal, and the apartment is so well equipped. It is very well presented and so clean. This property certainly deserves 5 stars. Rosa's communication is excellent too. If/when we come back to Madeira we will rebook. It is about 1.5 miles from the lido so that is great for those needing a bit of cooling in the Madeiran sun. Great restaurants literally around the corner or within a mile's walk. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Appartement très propre, confortable. Propriétaire disponible, réactive et sympathique. Le logement est vraiment très bien placé, proche du port et de toutes commodités. Malheureusement, les chiens avoisinants rompent le calme de l'endroit.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen (ruhig und nahe beim Zentrum) und verfügt über das Wesentliche. Der Ess-/Wohnbereich im Haus ist sehr klein (nur ein kleiner Tisch), aber die Terrasse draussen ist hübsch. Besonders geschätzt haben wir den gratis Abholservice vom Flughafen.

É uma casinha confortável, muito limpa e bem equipada e muito perto do centro do Funchal. Apenas sugiro a instalação de uma pequena TV na sala, pois a que tem, está num dos quartos. Die Kommunikation mit Rosa war sehr gut, sie stand bei Fragen stets helfend zur Seite. Auch sorgte sie für einen kostenlosen(!) Transfer vom Wohnung zu Flughafen, was für mich als Alleinreisende wirklich toll war. Die Wohnung liegt mehr im Wohnviertel, ist sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Hafen ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, zur Altstadt benötigt man etwas länger, aber definitiv machbar. Falls ich wieder nach Funchal kommen sollte, werde ich definitiv wieder diese Wohnung anfragen :-)

Le logement se trouve à côté du Casino et à 10minutes à pied de. Funchal. Petite maison très bien pour 4 personnes. Vraiment très propre, nous sommes hasmatiques et l'avons signalé et on peux affirmé que cela a été pris en compte TRÈS CONTENTS. Nous avons simplement une petite remarque sur l'accès mais vu le prix de la location et la propreté, cela reste tout à fait acceptable. Je conseil cette location

Rosa was really friendly and welcomed us very warmly (incl. free airport transfer), flat was super equipped with kitchen utensils, towels, bed linen, cleaning products, etc.. Location: walking distance (10 minutes) to the seaside promenade/city centre, 2 minutes to the nearest supermarket and restaurants. Very central but quiet location. Neighbouring dogs bark very often. Would book again.

A D. Rosa foi uma excelente anfitriã. Fui com o meu namorado e mais dois amigos e foi a melhor escolha. A casa tem dois quartos, estava impecavelmente limpa, está localizada mesmo no centro do Funchal e é tal e qual como no anúncio com tudo o que é necessário. Ainda nos ofereceu o transporte de e para o aeroporto, um gesto muito apreciado. Pela relação qualidade preço é, sem dúvida, das melhores estadias no Funchal para se desfrutar de uma semana de férias espetacular. Muito obrigada pela hospitalidade, D. Rosa! Estamos desejosos de voltar ☺️

Wij hebben 3 weken vertoefd in een mooi groot genoeg appartement met een gezin van 4 volwassen personen. Het appartement ligt enigszins verscholen tussen andere huizen vlak bij het centrum. De eerste dagen heb je wel spierpijn van het klimmen en afdalen in de straten van gemiddeld 15%. Het appartement voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen. Waterkoker, tostieapparaat, broodrooster, koelkast/diepvries, fans op de slaapkamers aanwezig. Wel moeten huurders enige liefde voor honden kunnen opbrengen, want ze waken dag en nacht en dat wil wel eens resulteren in wakker eorden. Wij hebben een zeer plezierig verblijf gehad in dit appartement
